Larger fuel injectors with a piggyback controller and 1 step colder spark plugs.

The kit works well with a stock motor if you keep the boost below 7 psi. My '03 is more difficult to tune than the newer models and led to the motor damage. The engine idling at the end of this video was on 7 cylinders only.

I believe STS rates the kit at 419 rwhp. So probably slightly more since I was running at 9 psi. A stock engine is usually in the neighborhood of 260-270 rwhp.

I upgraded it the same time I did the motor. At that point I had zero issues with the transmission. It survived 3 years of abuse without a problem.

how much boost are you running in this video? how did the stock engine hold up?

I was running 8#s boost and the #3 piston broke on the last burnout. I wasn't from high RPM, but from building boost at part throttle and running lean. (tuning issue) The engine was 5 years old having a turbo for 2 of them.

Not really axle hop, just underinflated airbags bouncing on soft leaf springs and shocks. The truck always launches straight and true at the track.
