kabar makes amazing knives...but the zombie knives arent as durable as a normal kabar USMC knife...if you want a badass, tough knife get a kabar tanto no serrations. friend bought a few of the zombie knives and they are not worth the money at all. avoid these knifes for a zombie apocolypse

Took several strikes to severe the head. Would cause too much noise and would be close-contact with zombie. Either go for the eye or this weapon is pretty useless for any zombie that is able to pose a large threat.

The only flaw with this knife is the fact that the blade doesn't have a groove in it to avoid causing a vacuum seal when stabbed into the skull, as demonstrated with this video. While this knife does make a good extremely close quarters 'holy fuck get it off me' slashing weapon, I'd personally either use a knife with a groove in the blade, or take the death dagger to a professional machine shop to get a groove added in.

not only did it not decapitate in one blow the first strike looked like it only cut his cheek open

the dacpitation was long on drawn out which is unrealistic.(the things trying to kill u and has control of everything untill u cut through the spine)

and stabbing into the brain doesnt neccesarily mean a kill. people had punctured and ruptured skulls and still lived

plus you knife is stuck and at that point u have to pull out another weapon but then your also struggling with the zombie

I've been thinking, how about different types of bows (replicas, modern bows, maybe a toy bow?) and crossbows... I'm pretty sure you can make zombie go boom with some explosive / flaming arrows :)

The knife would never be extremely INeffective -__-

Trying to chop off the head of a zombie would only make you vulnerable for it scratching you and possibly suddenly lunging at you when you're in close range. Also, it's harder than that to chop off a head as, you know, there's a thing called a spine in there in addition to muscle tissue. Zombies are not made of... whatever that thing is. Not trying to be an ass, just realistic.
