  • At what speed do you usually color these? Cause at the moment that's my biggest issue.Haha I can't color in the lines to save my life.

  • @cbaird62 I got quicker over time especially since I've been using the same 'look'. It can take me anywhere from 15 minutes or longer.

  • so...are your drawing actually that clean!? Or do you have a rough draft or something...

  • @cbaird62 Most of the time I just rough it on the card. Sometimes if it's one I'm having trouble with, I do it separately then transfer over with tracing paper. But lately I've been going from rough pencils straight to inks, skipping the tight pencils. Just depends on the piece and mood I guess.

  • this music makes me vomit

  • @kukuruzzo Hope it wasn't too messy. ^^;

  • @MsNicoleGoff haha awesome response lol

  • Wow you are a fantastic drawer I love it!

  • @MidnightPhoenix123 Thank you! Glad you enjoy it. XD

  • nice work! wish i had some of those markers!

  • Thanks! They are great, but costly. It's good to also invest in buying refills for them (I have to do that soon). ^^;

  • R u like in any major cartooning companies or whut

    dam u nice!!!

  • I worked on some published Marvel sketch cards (my profile lists the ones), but I'm not fully in the biz of comics. ^^; Thanks for watching and for the sub! XD

  • How come all of the female heroes have visible navel even when in the real world they would be hidden?

  • Shapes interpreted into line. Artist interpretation...style. It's just an art form and differs with each artist in some way. The perception of reality put in 2-D.

    It' not a matter of realism, but a matter of expression. XD

  • So you use ink-liquid and a paintbrush to do your outlining? So that is how you get such a wide variety of lines in your drawings... it adds so much more diemention! Good to know!

  • Exactly! (Except the 'paint brush' is more designed for ink brushing.) ;P It does make inking thin and thick lines much easier, yes. And thanks for noticing the impact it has...depth and demension can be achieved even with out 'shading'. XD

  • when you added the shadows i have to saw i was completely amazed

  • Thank you. I have learned through the 'insights' feature here, that I should start adding the shadows sooner in the video, because I loose viewers attention more often in the vids when I wait longer to add the shadows. ^^; So thanks for sticking through it. ;) I'm glad to hear personal feedback about that, I appreciate it! XD

    Now I just have to remember to add them sooner for future recordings...

  • I always mention it in the videos...they're Copic Markers. The particular brush type I use is the Copic 'Sketch' Markers, but simply asking if they carry Copic markers is a better approach. They're quite pricey and not all places carry them.

    And thanks for watching and for the comments! XD

  • awesome video :)

  • Thanks for watching and thinking so! XD

  • Wow I love your work :)

  • Thank you very much! I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment. XD

  • I have watched most of them, they are just great. Loved the Baroness.

  • Awesome, thanks!! :D

  • NICOLE!! It's me! Mr Scary!! Remember? From

    Super Hero fan Art a few years ago??!! Wow, your work, awesome as always! I still have all the art work you sent me for the website. My Buddy (Bad Apple) posted a pic of my character "Cyberfluxx" that he sketched and I colored, on Digital Webbing and I saw your post. Great to see you're still doing your thing!!

  • WOW! Lotsa years ago. XD But be careful..that artwork of mine is like way old..you might give others ideas...Heaven forbid they find out I have 10 year old artwork still up on the web. ^^; ;P

    But it was nice x-fan site owners like you that built up my confidence to post on the web and continue on striving with the artwork which led to attending Joe Kubert's art school. So thanks!! *hug*

  • Oh yeah? Well, Whenever I ink listening to Dam Dadi Doo I ink THREE TIMES FASTER!! LOL

    Total awesomeness!!

  • And you're just a showoff! *giggle*

    This video is times 8 then doubled from the original cut (after editing out the static moments of no movement). ;P
