  • Ismail reported: I said to 'Abdullah b. Abi Aufa: Did Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) give glad tidings of Paradise to Khadija? He said: Yes. He did give glad tidings to her of a palace of jewels in Paradise wherein there would be no noise and no toil. [Muslim, Book 031, Number 5968] What an amazing woman Khadija was :) Masha'Allah!

  • I appreciate these series I am on the 10th one as of now...I am studying the history seeking answers.....these teachings are a great start to understanding the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and his life. I am awed.....Hopefully one day I will be as knowledgeable....I am striving to become a strong muslimah one day very soon. Hence the need for the history as well as understanding.

  • ''ELHAMDURILLAH and ALLAHUEKBER'' INSALLAH one day entire world will see ISLAM is the BEST of the BEST religion SUKUR that I am muslim, elhamdurillah.

  • Maybe someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought and have been taught that Hz. Khadijah (RA) was the first one to believe in our Rasul and became the first Muslim.

  • Peace,

You are right! Khadija Al-Kubra (May Allah be pleased with her) was the first person to believe in our Prophet PBUH.

Sumaya Bint Al-Khayat (May Allah be pleased with her) is the first martyr in the History of Islam.

First Muslim and First Shaheed were women.

  • Shukran Garabsare - indeed, isn't that beautiful two such important figures in our history were the first in two unique roles, where women. May Allah Grant them the Best of Paradise, al-Firdaus. Of course, Hz. Khaidjah (RA) was given the Glad Tidings of Paradise while she was still alive.

  • I thought that Zaid was the only sahaba to be named explicitily by name in the Quran? He said it was Abu Bakr. Quran surah 33 Al-Ahzab, Ayat 37.

  • "Allah calls Abu Bakr, in the Quran, "the companion of the prophet" - sahib. The only person whom Allah calls a companion explicitly is Abu Bakr."

  • Can you then tell me, which Surah and which Ayat that might be in?

  • Surah At-Tawbah verse 40 [9:40]
