@SonicPAJ Very different. X is a different robot and the games are set 100 years apart.

@SonicPAJ They are different people, set in the same universe. No one knows where the cast from the original Mega Man series went, but one most likely explanation is that the original cast was deactivated, and placed into a museum, another less likely theory is that Zero killed them off. X Is far more powerful than that of the original Mega Man, and although Dr Light died before he could see X enter the new world, a theory is that Wiley lived on in the X series, as a character named Serges.
