  • WOW! This 1966 Ford LTD in Ivy Green metallic is one of the most beautifully preserved original LTD's I have ever seen. I was a kid when these cars were new in 1966 and I have always loved them. It's styling is a great example of American straight line car design that has aged great over the years. I sure would have loved to own this one. The sound of that Ford V8 is like music to my ears. Much better than the computer laden cars of today.

  • I tried to choose a green color similar to this spetacular 66 Galaxie. You can see in my videos posts.

  • why are you selling it man? this is a car i would never get rid of its a clean as classic

  • This is Ivy Green Metallic. We had a '65 Galaxie 500 289 V8 in this color. One of the best cars ever! Too bad, now you can't drive it to the Dutch Kitchen on Rt 61 so I can see it!

  • my dad has a galaxie in sky blue the seats are blue but the front seats are ripped

  • OK, OK! I will give you $25,000.00. final offer.

  • i think i got a 1965 ford custom 500. It looks like the galaxie but the lights look differen from the back n it doesnt have that clock on the dash bored by the steering wheel

  • My first car was just like this one the only difference it was a deep red .

  • Do you know the name of this green color ?

  • We had a '65 Galaxie 500 in this Ivy Green metallic with Lime green cloth and vinyl seats, 289 V8. One of the best cars we ever had! I'll meet you at the Dutch Kitchen on Rt 61 so I can see this beauty!!! Enjoy that car!

  • i seen this car in st.clair pa about 2 years ago in the criuse...where was the dealer in frackville?...is it the old chrysler dealership across from the dutch kitchen in frackville?....i remember this was a real nice car .....i'm from shendo.[462] df

  • Hi, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner just had seen the post now. Well anyway no the dealer is not the one your thinking of. It was on a side street in Frackville, Pa. years ago. The car was in incredible original condition. You don't see to many with original mint interior and especially with original paint that was just as nice as it was in 66. Thanks, Marty

  • yeah..it is a real nice car...now you have me stumped..i will have to find out were that dealer was in frackville...but man thats a nice car

  • OOOOH BEAUTIFUL!!!

When you go to the car show, you always see a lot of these mid '60s Galaxies, but I never get tired of seeing them. They're absolutely awesome cars.

I have me a 1974 LTD, the son of the Galaxie lol

  • I'd be afraid to drive it.

  • WOW! Thanks for posting this! I own a '66 Galaxie500 LTD with a 390 4V BLACK on BLACK (thus my name...) I have mags on mine.. looks killer. How much did you get for that beauty?

  • Hi, it Sold for around $13,000. I could of got up to $15,000 I believe but I let it go a little lower and was happy with that. I bet the Black on Black is beautiful. Thanks, Marty

  • I have this same car, the only dif. black top, its light tan, about 30thou more miles, but everything is all original. i love the car its my pride and joy. i put an exhaust on it with flowmaster super44s with strait pipes and it growls. absolutely love the car, this ones paint is amazing

  • The most beautiful thing I ever seen in YouTube. 66 model is stunning.

  • SWEEEEEEEEEEET!

  • Beautiful!!! I had one of these my first car...

Mine was a rust bucket but i loved it all the same.. I always tell people if I got rich? I'd have one restored... Mine was all red inside and out... Thanks for the Post!!!

  • @vmanns2 i have a nice 4 door in kansas $3500 repost for reply

  • Hey, how much did you sold it for, I am looking for one, but I dont want to get ripped off. thanks

  • Hi, well this is the LTD version which was the most expensive back then but is not worth the most today. A galaxie 500 XL with buckets and a 4 barrel 390 or 427 is worth more. This exact car 1966 Galaxie 500 LTD was in perfect original condition and is not worth over $15,000. So do not pay over that and it better be a very low milage original car like this one was. Hope that helps....

  • I came by this youtube comment today. I have the same Ltd and would like to sell mine. If you would like to know more the cost is under $3,999.00 Has new interior upholstery and runs great!

  • Wow, really nice car!

  • Thank you very much. It was perect, to bad it wasn't a 1969 Boss 429 in the same condition...

  • Hi, everyone the Galaxie LTD is SOLD. It sold in 7 days...
