@ladyanneboleyn1987 I've read both The Pearl and Hamlet for school.....and they're horrible. Pretty much everyone dies^^ Why do we never get to read the great books? Your username is awesome, by the way. ;)
@LeanaMcKie :) Thanks, I'm a tad bit obsessed with the Tudors. But yeah, the great books would've been nice. I love Jane Eyre, or even a Jane Austen novel would be nice. It's funny how my old school always picks the uninteresting books. I remember in grade 10 we read "Of Mice and Men" and grade 11 was "To Kil a Mockingbird"... both of which I didn't really like. You see, I'm more of a "romantic" and I love books based in the early 1800s, in the Bronte/Austen era. :D
I'm personally a tad bit more obsessed with Jane Eyre (like you, I'm more of a 'romantic') ^_^ but I've always loved to read about the Tudor era, and Anne Boleyn is my personal favorite wife of Henry. I'm not the greatest fan of Jane Austen but her books would be far preferable to Of Mice and Men (10th grade) and To Kill a Mockingbird (7th) TKaM wasn't so bad, but OMaM instilled a life-long hatred of Steinbeck in me ;) The man had a case of clinical depression to make Edward Cullen jealous. ;-)

But it's SO unfair that you got to do a project on Jane Eyre while my high school forced us to read Great Expectations.
