  • @29048alduncan There are some guys at work who are planning a fishing trip down there...please send me a private message with your info so they can contact you. Thanks for watching!

  • @29048alduncan They want to launch close to the Dingle Pond Road area.

  • I said "WOW" out loud!! Superb!!

  • @chub1138 Thanks! We worked hard on this.

  • @howza20 Thanks, Brett. You're Bob Houser's son, right? I was good meeting ya'll.

  • You guys are nuts but I can't stop watching your videos!

  • @RLJSlick Thanks a lot for your comment here and on my profile! Glad you're enjoying our work.

  • Colin, just heard about the twister at Rock Hill, hope you and your family and friends are ok.

  • @renebruunphoto I was out of town.....but yes. None of the fatalities were friends or family

  • Excellent Video m8,Really love the Owl.10/10

  • @sid6702 Too bad the owl didn't like me. =)

  • It must be great to take owl shots in daylight. Is the Barred owl always so active during daylight? That is a stunning flight shot you captured, horizontal lines giving it super composition. This time of year in England the Tawnys are really hooting but they're strictly nocturnal...inconsiderate eh?

Thanks for taking time to put these inspiring films together....a joy to watch.

  • @sunnyboydog You can get a response late in to the day with the owl call. But the best time of day is beginning at about 6:00pm and following. Thanks for your compliments on the flight shot!

  • wow this was amazing truly amazing work

  • @thegarthgoodviewshow Thanks so much!

  • Best video yet! You should go to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in eastern Tennessee. Great fall colors, plentiful and big bucks, and breathtaking views in the fall.

  • @GatewayImage Best comment of the year.....I'm planning a trip there as we speak!

  • @flecktonesrock You gonna come up north to Hudsonbay ? :)

  • @fuzzymonkey79 Got birds? =)

  • @flecktonesrock Tons :D and btw awesome video i always love watching you guys doing this stuff :)

  • @fuzzymonkey79 Thanks! This was our funnest and best Santee video for sure!

  • hey colin, one more great and interesting video from both austin and you. as usual. cant´t wait to the next episode. what is scheduled next?

    best regards from germany

  • @hsvandcanon We barely pulled this one off, haha. Not sure what's next. More Santee action, and another trip to South Carolina's barrier islands for sure! Thanks for watching!

  • Great video, was waiting for some new upload from you for little while, but as usual well worth it... It is privilege to own 500 f4 and in this case, its in very good hands. Would like to use it for my neighbour Barn Owl..Keep shooting.. Good luck Colin

  • @PCRVader Glad you waited! This video has footage from 4 trips I think it was. 3 solo trips for me and the final one with Austin. So the wait was longer than normal. But I think it was worth it to combine only the best footage from the 4 trips. I'm proud of what we captured. But as always, the best stuff wasn't caught on film.

  • Amazing footage and great info on the cottonmouth very useful.

  • @dnth8rel8 Thanks!

  • Really good guys, keep it up. I can see you have a passion for wildlife, nice thing to pass on to your kids.

  • @swsalpaha Thanks for your comment!

  • Truly amazing film you have put together here! By far the best you have posted! I personally think you raised your videography standards to another level. The moving clip @ 12:49 mixed with the incoming owl clips was spectacular! Great work and information from both you and Austin. Thanks for sharing Colin!

  • @nebulanbloom I've had a couple comments on that clip....it's a popular one!! Thanks. The moving kayak adds something special.

  • Wow, this sure is your best footage! Thank you very much for sharing.

  • @tiagopadua It is!!! Credits to the beautiful wildlife of the South Carolina Swamps!

  • Wow, is that bird heaven? You've made some awesome footage there, great videos and brilliant images!

    Thanks for sharing!

  • @fwijffels Thanks a lot!! At the right time of year and water levels, yes, it's awesome!

  • Stunning! Should be on tv :)

  • @marleyman101 Something I love as a career? Nah.....not happening to me. haha Thanks though! Austin is pursuing this professionally however, there's hope for him.

  • @flecktonesrock I would totally agree, wouldn't like it myself! Perhaps what i should of said: The quality and knowledge you two have it great, and the fact its really entertaining it could get a slot! :) Great to hear Austin is pursuing his dream, wish him the best.

  • This is indeed your best idea so far. I would never go swimming in a water with snakes and Aligators but, man, you guys are tough ;-)

Keep on going. Like your videos a lot.

  • @NordishByNature265 Thanks so much! It's a calculated risk.....or something. =)

  • Excellent video and still shots...all of it is great... owls are entertaining creatures...both sight and sound...when I am in the woods they are always ready to carry on a conversation!!

  • @outlawedge The owls are amazing!! But wow those talons hurt!

  • Awesome as usual Colin. I love your videos :) The stills are exceptional, congratulations!

  • @stubones Thanks a lot!

  • Cool video Colin

  • @renebruunphoto Sending you a PM....

  • @flecktonesrock Want to try that PM again, didn't get anything. Thanks.

  • @renebruunphoto I was watching your channel- nice that you have a Bull Island there too!! Austin and I have spent a lot of time exploring Bull Island off of the South Carolina coast. I checked your site, it looked good and you're much more accomplished than I am! I've only been published a few times and won one contest. I don't market myself though, not really sure how. I have some friends in Ireland. If I ever visit them, I expect we'll get together!

  • congratulations on making me the most jealous person on youtube! I hope when I'm living on my own I can just go out every morning and have such great experiences and footage/photos that you have! great video

  • @BrendanRuch12 Glad we've inspired you!! Thanks for watching.

  • Again, most beautiful work you do.

I do hope you guys have with you an ample supply of snake anti-venom, the training to use it, a couple of Iridium satellite telephones, at least 2 medevac helicopters on standby, and the two of you are in good standings with our Lord and God. Let us leave nothing to chance.

We just want you fellows to stay around here for the years to come. Keep up the great work.

  • @YoPandabear No anti-venom, no training, no satellite telephones, and.....I'm pretty sure we didn't have any choppers standing by. We don't even have a first aid kit! haha....Might need to look in to that. Got a pretty bad cut when we were dragging the kayaks. Thanks for watching!

  • Thanks for the Video, I love the footage and the still photos are FANTASTIC.

s always, I look forward to the next video.

    Hi from Australia.

  • @dustyslife Thanks so much!! You guys have the real snakes there....we were looking up the LD50 toxicity values for cottonmouths and ended up checking out some of your snakes too. Australia has some truly DEADLY species. Granted, the snakes we were handling could do some very serious harm, especially when you're in the middle of nowhere, and they all need to be handled with respect.

  • Once again you've captured some great footage. Hopefully you`ll educate a few regarding the cotton-mouth and other supposing dangerous snakes

  • @bobsden25 Cottonmouths are very confident snakes, but not aggressive, that's the point we were trying to make. When the first Cottonmouth was released at 7:59, he swam 6 inches away from Austin's leg. He was not bothered or scared of us at all. We mistakenly assumed he would swim in the direction I pointed him- away from us. Wrong. Thanks for stopping by!

  • Wow man you guys got some great footage GREAT JOB!!!! I just got my 70-200 2.8 IS 2 I hope I can get some great shots like yours I can't wait to test it out.

  • @jz23650 I guess Canon is rolling out their Mark II lenses now....the 500mm will be over $9k. Absurd! Hey, enjoy your 70-200! Great lens.

  • Beautiful snake, but you guys are a tad insane! (in a good way)

  • @pedrosttau Guilty as charged. Take care! =)
