  • Sounds very nice mate

  • So if I replace the neck pickup with a p90, the bridge setting on the guitar will sound exactly the same?

  • @HawK047 Sure will. It will change the middle position (bridge+neck) tone though.

  • Great tone their guy!

  • I have a Vintage Tele (from Vintage and not from Fender...) and the bridge PU isn't my taste...

I would like to build in a P90 in the bridge position.

It would be Okay or not ? Thx everybody !

  • @soaring138 A p90 would be great although I prefer the neck position for mine:) but if you don't want the hassle of routing etc you can get dual rails that'll fit the bridgeplate/cavity or a hot single coil like a schaller t6 or seymour duncan hot vintage tele bridge pickup(I have teles with them both and the seymour edges it imho) don't be fooled they can get Br00tal! p90's can be noisy but shielding cuts 99% of the crud.

  • Let me guess, there is a shitload of florescent lights in that room.

  • Does Brian still build guitars?

  • I love the bass contour thing, it's going on my next guitar.

  • great tone, will have to check out those pickups - I have an 11k Esquire bridge pickup in my Tele matched with a P90 neck pickup.

  • How is the intonation on that Rutter's bridge?

  • @ryaandnice Again, sorry for the late response, the intonation on the Rutter's bridge is awesome.

  • How is the intonation on that Rutter's half bridge?

I'm having a dog of a time picking out a bridge for my first Warmoth build.

    Sounds really good...

  • great sound!

  • Did you shield the cavities? the hum is really loud.. but I dig the tele.. nice color and love the bridge setup! and the p90 is a good combination with the bridge pickup..

  • @lowfatberryblue Sorry for the late response, the cavities aren't shielded and I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be effective anyway since the bridge cavity cannot be completely enclosed because I'm running the chopped bridge.

  • @kj053910 thanks for the reply! I really dig the p90 pickup in there.. it sounds really good... and I love the color..
