Well, I'm not here to win "the quickest folder ever" prize or something like that: I'm here to show how origami figures are made, as clear as possible... hence, as slow as possible, enough so that even a beginner may give it a try!
Plus, usually the slower you fold, the more precise you are, the better the final figure results!
There's no need to hurry, imho.
Glad you liked the final result: who designed this was just inspired.
When I was a child we made these crosses with reeds for Palm Sunday. For 58 years I have trying to remember how it was done. Thank you so much for the memories. Now I can share them with my grandchildren!
Thanks to you, for putting a big smile on my face with your words... for letting me know that I was able to bring back those memories: that's really rewarding, to me! :-D
May you and your grandchildren have a great and uplifting time, while folding these!
Great job, I did it wrong the first time, took me 2 tries... I should use taller paper next time so the ends don't come out too stubby (used regular copy paper) but it's cute!
@danbergam My dad still does make crosses out of palm leaves whenever we go on vacation he plucks one from a tree and does it. I always wondered how and now I can do it too!
I'll try to speak the few itallian i know. La buona cosa e che il tuto son lenti. E tu non ai bisognon di parlar per "explain" con dettaglio. Sorry for my crappy italian. The good thing of your tutorials is that they are slow, an you don't need words to explain in detail. Saludos, Dan
Don't be sorry, Juan: it's been so great and kind, from you, to write it in italian too... and let me tell, it was good enough to let me immediately get what you mean... guess what? I'm here smiling (because making these tutorials slow for all and clear is my main purpose)... and I think that smile won't leave my face too soon!
What can I say? May each single day of your life bring lots of smiles!
Exactly: whether one believes or not in a God, the "peace and love" many religions teach can be considered a good heritage in common and harmonizable with the same kind of concept in other philosphies, constitutions and such!
These words are so warm for my heart, so rewarding for my humble efforts... I'm here smiling!
I agree with you, knowledge is one of the best gifts one can both give and receive... and a great thing is that there is always something new to learn, no matter how much one knows: it's great, because... there's no risk to get bored, haha... or too proud, as well! :-D
Happy Easter to you in return!
Next video will be about an inflatable bunny... or about an original design of mine! ;-)
Thank you for your appreciation. About the "burn" thing...
Jesus accepted to die on the cross for to free us from our sins and open us the doors of Heaven... could you think of a greater sign of Love than giving one's Life?
Thanks, it´s very easy ...I teach this.

The regret with the traditional origami models is that one doesn't know who, for first, imagined and designed them!
The only thing I know is that this Cross can be made with palm leaves... hence I suppose that this design has to be quite old, if not antique!
Oh, well!
Thank you so much, for your kindness... and thank to Em as well, for so nicely sharing it!
May the good Lord bless you as well!
