psychologically it does, but it actually helps productivity and keeps costs down... we are only talking about 4.7% of people, since full employment is roughly considered 5%... so, yes it is a concern, but has little effect on the overall economy especially now that we are growing so quickly again.

90.3% of people are employed. 5% unemployment is generally considered full employment in the USA... so you are complaining that 4.7 people out of 100 are unemployed. So when you actually look at the numbers, it's not nearly as bad as the poorly educated people are making it sound.
There are plenty of jobs for these 4.7% of people, but most of them are just lazy... productivity is up, exports are up, the markets are up, so there is nothing to worry about now that Obama has resorted our economy.
that number is clearly made up by the government. if you use their numbers from the BLS the unemployment rate is 10.6% if you count discouraged workers and people who have fell off unemployment the number is near 22%. Of all people, seeing as you think you are someone who knows something about economics you should know about this. That would mean that nearly 78% of the people are employed. People can't find jobs. It's not that they're lazy. Our economy has not been restored. That's bullshit.

Further, few have put a final time frame on these predictions. All of your "facts" don't point to an expanding economy. An expanding economy includes increases in production and savings, contraction of money supply and resulting lowering of prices and rises of interest rates to natural market levels. 90.3% of people are employed. 5% unemployment is generally considered full employment in the USA... so you are complaining that 4.7 people out of 100 are unemployed. So when you actually look at the numbers, it's not nearly as bad as the poorly educated people are making it sound.
There are plenty of jobs for these 4.7% of people, but most of them are just lazy... productivity is up, exports are up, the markets are up, so there is nothing to worry about now that Obama has resorted our economy.

that number is clearly made up by the government. if you use their numbers from the BLS the unemployment rate is 10.6% if you count discouraged workers and people who have fell off unemployment the number is near 22%. Of all people, seeing as you think you are someone who knows something about economics you should know about this. That would mean that nearly 78% of the people are employed. People can't find jobs. Now the only thing that would cause the price of gold to come down is supply and demand because I believe you can't accept a gold bar as payment for goods and services. My question is, where are the new jobs going to come from? Manufacturing technology is dead, money for new ventures is down by 84% in the US compared to two years ago, angel venture capitalists are now seeing 600 new proposals for every one they fund, compared to 60 two years ago, and the manufacturing jobs that have all been shipped overseas aren't coming back, because the countries that are now doing the manufacturing are up to 4 generations ahead of the US in manufacturing technology.

Conciousness is not something that is part of life. We have more emotions than animals, evolution is also a religion,and requires faith without evidence. We are more geneticly like pigs than monkeys.(hence swine flu). God is energy,physics,gentics etc.only he creates life ........as we and everything else is too.

Evolution is not a religion, because it has a great deal of scientific fact backing it up. Geology, Biology, Genetics., the Fossil Record, etc. It doesn't require faith without evidence, there's tons of evidence in abundance.

There is no God, not one single shred of evidence.

Well since Darwins original work, which showed how creatures altered their physical structure in response to their environment, by observation, there was the discovery of Mendel's work on genes, which showed how information could be transmitted from generation to generation, then of course there's the fossil record which shows unequivocally that creatures alter through time. Then there's livestock which demonstrates natural selection.

I am a biologist and Chemist with a doctorate in pharmacy and it appears you don't really understand genes or fossils or what Darwin was even talking about. Did you read Darwins books? I did. Adaptation appears to be true, skin color drug resistance etc. is an example. You cannot add or take away DNA to change a species. It has never been done..

In what way don't I understand the genetic code? It is passed from generation to generation, and adapts the phenome by natural selection. A simple replicating algorithm.
A species is an organism that has achieved reproductive isolation. The fossil record is stuffed with intermediate species.
So your answer is, I don't understand, and Jesus alters the aids virus to maximise it's killing potential.

Then there was the discovery that the continents moved, hence explaining the distribution of animals in their different forms globally, then there was the discovery of the vast age of the planet. Now there's the unravelling of the genetic code, which shows how those mechanisms work.
In short all scientific discovery backs up Darwin's theory of evolution by natural selection, nothing backs up the religious explanation. How is that a belief system, as it actually works in the real world?

what exactly do you consider science and is "science" more truthful than observation? Science is part fact and part speculation that's why scientists never agree. What fossil shows transitional species? How can you explain the Cambrian Explosion when many varieties of species appeared at the same time? The universe requires a belief in a creator and if you don't see it I doubt anybody can convince you.

yes I do claim we have a soul. People in those days are every bit as intelligence as we are and maybe more so. They discovered most of the scientific principles we use today (Archimides principle) etc. We don't have to understand all of the what and why of what God does. Haven't you ever suffered and not understood why at the time but later realized how much you have learned and actually benefitted from the pain. Eternity makes the suffering of today less and less significant.

Science is the independent replication of results. That is the only way that mankind has created that gives an objective truth. Of course science is more truthful than observation. For a biochemist you have some pretty odd ideas?
I suppose you don't bother with peer review, if your chemicals go purple, you "observe" it's the same colour as a flower, therefore it must be a flower, bizarre.

Which is a fallacy of thinking. By postulating God, and not just God, but a specific god who had a son called Jesus, you are attempting to put forth a theory. Unfortunately none of the evidence backs your theory. What about a Muslim God, a Hindu God, a Sikh God, a Satanic God, a Cargo cult God, the very fact that thousands of religions exist, and each has it's own wacky theory, and subsets of, should tip you off to the subjective, and invalid nature of your reasoning.

Yes, but the theory of evolution was backed by scientific advance, and through the use of scientific method, has become scientific fact, at least in the general sense, there are still plenty of arguments within evolution about the exact mechanisms.
