Obviously Kyle was the main character, but I always thought that Declan and Lori would get back together to form Leclan again. The chemistry necklaces alluded to it, but it would've been nice to see them together at the end. Whyyy, ABC Family, whyyyyy???
I would have LOVED to see this show continue. It had so much more to tell and teach. I think that Kyle is a beautiful person that not only touched the other characters on the show, but also touched everyone who watched. I felt better about myself and felt myself gain more faith with every episode I watched. In a time when superheroes are so popular in the mass media, it would have been inspiring to see him become a 'superhero of the soul', because I think we all need that in one way or another.
i'm so bummed that they never finished or will finish the series. either way i think the writers and producers had a good plan to make kyle xy an amazing show. its so sad how it ended in a cliff hanger.

I knew when I started watching Kyle XY that it had been cancelled and that the ending would suck. But I thought that as long as the series was good it'd be worth it. And it was. It just really saddens me to see a show that has an actual story, a message, depth and meaning get cancelled. This series wasn't just entertainment, it was a story being told about love, life, morals, good/evil, how to use power, how to treat people. It deserved to be finished properly, not to be dropped like an old toy.

But I have to disagree, I don't think that at the end he should be alone. It was always Jessie and Kyle. They complete each other. Okay, this is the end of my rant, I promise! I guess what I am trying to say is that the writers changed Kyle in the third season.. the "real" Kyle of the first 2 seasons would never hurt Amanda nor have feelings for another girl. That's another thing that angered me. And to think that they were planning for Kyle to reject her once she said she wanted to be with him again.. it doesn't make sense. I know someone else out there must feel the same!

I started watching this show on Netflix. And i couldn't help but get sucked into all the pure innocence that made kyle amazing. And then i got to the last episode and cassidy said "I'm your brother" and it ENDED! I almost threw my computer through a window. God i really hate secret life right about now. I think it would be better if Kyle ended up with Amanda, but with Jessi as his best friend. I found it a bit strange that they liked each other but lived in the same house, as if they were brother and sister. I preferred the dynamic between them at the end of Season 2.

Kyle and Amanda was like a high school love. You think it's a real great love and it would last but it's not. As a first love, every feelings are exagerating! Beside in Kyle's case, he's a newborn! At the end Kyle's love for Amanda is more a question of habit. More, you see him try his best to not fall in love with Jessie, unsuccessfully of course! But it shows how much he fears his own feelings for her. As the writters have explained, it's a complicated but a true love!

Okay, this is the end of my rant, I promise! I guess what I am trying to say is that the writers changed Kyle in the third season.. the "real" Kyle of the first 2 seasons would never hurt Amanda nor have feelings for another girl. That's another thing that angered me. And to think that they were planning for Kyle to reject her once she said she wanted to be with him again.. it doesn't make sense. I know someone else out there must feel the same!

show ended so abruptly, but I am even more upset about the direction they were taking with the show. I loved the first two seasons, but I found myself getting really frustrated with what the writers were doing in the third season. Does anyone else agree? Perhaps that was the reason why the ratings dropped. All in all this is still one of my favorite shows ever. I just wish they had a chance to end it right, and I wish they would have not changed the direction of the show so drastically.

I really disagree with what they said about Kyle ultimately having to be alone without a partner. I was very upset when the writers decided to create a love triangle as well, because I really felt that Amanda was the right girl for him. Even as a hero, it doesn't mean he needs to be alone in life. He would not be who he became without his family and without the people who shaped him. I started watching this show on Netflix. And i couldn't help but get sucked into all the pure innocence that made kyle amazing. And then i got to the last episode and cassidy said "I'm your brother" and it ENDED! I almost threw my computer through a window. God i really hate secret life right about now. They ended something so amazing like Kyle XY to a show that talks about sex every damn minute. That's just...sad.

Even they said it, that Amanda was just puppy love and Jessi was true love.
