It's like you claim to know what real music is after listening to some shitty pop artist songs for 5 years. I listen to scantraxx, fusion, a2, avio, theracords, and even spoontech records. Hardstyle is Hardstyle, and there are 2 subgenres of it: nu-style and rawstyle.

I guess it's more a matter of opinion then... still, just compare the bassline, the melo and the overall hardness in the climax part of magic compared to under attack, IMHO the melo is harder (a bit), and the bass is harder too (quite much actually), same goes for "X is the name", or whatever the title is, I'm assuming that's the one you were talking about, the melo is actually almost happy in that one :D Anyways, this is all just my opinion, to each his own.

@TheAce12570 It is indeed just a matter of opinion. For what I can hear, the bassline, the kick, the melody, the evil screeches, and the (FUCKING) raw vocals, makes it alot harder than Magic. And it even only contains a small "Magic" vocal. Ran-D's vocal makes it more energetic. And the synth it self also sounds either just as hard or even harder. The melody it self is just a matter of taste, weither or not you think it's hard. Just my cup of tea.

In my opinion, is there a lot of factors to indicate weither or not, it's RAW or just Euphoric. And cut the nu-style crap. It's not a genre. It's something made up by the community.

Nu-style isn't a genre. It's a subgenre of Hardstyle. Rawstyle is made up by the community too, which is also a subgenre of Hardstyle.
