this is really a poor attempt at RAB, eddie arnold was an established country artist when this came out, all the jukers automatically bought at least one copy of each new release by him for each box they had. can you imagine the disappointment in the bars when this came on? when i usta travel and buy 45s for my record shops in the 70s and 80s there were always many near mint, probably only played once [ha ha] copies of this 45. i bought them all because it was the 1 eddie arnold record that sold
I think rca took a chance with this kind of material like columbia giveing psuedo rock songs to nat cole and tony bennett they stuck with the dog on the label for a long time [dogs like to listen to music some sing and dance and even drive cars if you watch the video suzy cincinatti by the beach boys it has a dog named skippy drieving a car.
