“Cycle of poverty”: The Catholic church still actively opposes the R.H. Bill (Reproductive health Bill), stating that the ideal size of the Philippine family should be 5 to 7 children. The Catholic church goes on to state that the reason for this is that the Philippines is then able to export labor for very cheap price. Some might call that a form of slavery. In any event, a very large part of the blame for Philippine poverty is rightly laid at the door of the Catholic church.
bruno mars is byproud hy are pilippines hy was also in smoky mauntin hy are one biljonaire remember his song ask him to kom en help jy eferibady se hy is good a want to sy it
The DSWD filipino social welfare leaders can travel the world, have Lunch ins,Host parties for others and they are always doing reports???? They should with the help of the phillipine goverment get more funds and take care of this. They depend so much on outside agentcies from other countires to look after the worst conditiditions..
The Philippine government and the wealthy class of Filipinos should be ashamed --no completely-- guilt-ridden for allowing Smokey Mountain to exist! This is morally outrageous and unpardonable!
I have been on the top of Smokey Mountain, it was a bad place to be. We need to do something for more than the children. The western world (us) is to blame for the poor situation. Our greedy lifestyle has destroyed and corrupted a whole nation. We should be ashamed.
It's time to give something back to the people we have plundered for centuries!
And the Philippines is still being plundered, what about all the girls and children that some western people/men are using?
@DagKristianHoiland How on earth is this the fault of the West? We HELPED them. They'd be worse off than us. This is the fault of the RP government, and maybe the rich Chinoys. My people(Canada and Italy) NEVER have done a bad thing to the Philippines.
Thanks for your extraordinary efforts and kind and caring heart...God Bless you!
