I love the actual sign of wearing a purity ring. For me, it's a great way to share love with people. Often, people ask me who I'm engaged to. I tell them "Jesus", because it's true. I tell them how the Bible is the greatest love story of all time, of Jesus preparing Himself to rescue His bride, the church. Yes you can be pure without one, but it's more fun to have it. Plus, how cool would it be to give your ring to your spouse the day you marry? Pretty awesome.

These people do realize that in the middle ages people used to have sex at the age of 11 or 12, don't they? Why do all teenage actors wear purity rings, when every normal teenager is having sex on a daily basis? If you ask me, the industry is making these people into the ideal trend slave they want so they can influence others. I think a lot of you're misinterpreting the whole concept of a purity ring. First, the ring itself is ONLY a symbol. Just like a wedding ring. Purity rings are symbolic of saving yourself for your husband/wife. Sex is ultimately the greatest thing you can share with your husband/wife. Sex IS natural and was created by God.
