Soundgarden is talented heavy band with a phenomenal multi-octave vocalist, while Pearl Jam is soft, radio rock pussy band with shit vocalist who has a very limited vocal range. Just listen to "Hunger Strike" from Temple of the Dog. Veder grumbling out his lame monotones, while Cornell is nailing it from low to high. Just because your too fucking ignorant to understand the difference doesn't change facts. "Grundge" is a dead trend, fuck it, and fuck you!

@RRMikeP First, in hunger strike eddie has to thing like that. Lower tones while chris does de higher tones. And thats how the song became just great. Pearl Jam is softer than Soundgarden. Chris has a great vocal range, Eddie dont but he's still a great vocalist. That u cant take it from him. Id like to hear u singing, perhaps you have a nice vocal range...when someone is shoving a stick upon your ass. HIGH TONES Mikeass high tones...

@RRMikeP You sir, are stupid. Range is not a necessity. Having it is always nice, but one can do plenty without it. Eddie Vedder is a great singer, and if your too fucking ignorant to recognize that range isn't everything then, I guess there's no point in further argument.

@ImtheDesertFox Yeah, they're getting old, their songs are even more softer... but Pearl Jam's songs are kind of "lifetime songs". I mean, i'm still young and enjoy loud rocking music, some soft too. But eventualy i will get older and maybe i would really enjoy those soft songs that PJ is making now. In my opinion Eddie Vedder is a very talented song writer. They all have good things. Kurt Cobain turned simple riffs in catchy amazing songs...

But, I just saw Cornell 2 months ago and his voice was amazing again, like 1992 amazing. His voice has been getting better and better and I'm sure their new album will not disappoint us.
