Dude, thx for posting this. I played this game when it first came out. Then a few years ago I played it on an emulator, but never finished. I just played it emulated all the way thru with your walkthrough and had a blast. I got all of the storyline, with none of the wasted resources from going thru the useless tunnels. The leveling parts didn't take THAT long, and had to be done. Thx alot! U rock!
Dude i remember playing this game so much with my older brother years back but for some reason my nes kept erasing the game data. We always got to the place at 10:00 minute into the speedrun and the game would freeze or the data would be erased. I always wondered what the last boss was. Kudos to you!
around 1:30 you fight that vampire chick, noticed you used the full fire charge, sounds familiar as a strategy.
Im doing my own speed run through, and I noticed that she is invincible to everything including that... But I am level 10, you are 14, so i guess i dont have enough attack power or whatever to hurt her yet. Explains why you did so much power leveling in the previous movie.
you can be a lower level towards the end if u have the power ring early. but you do have to be a certain level to hurt bosses. it was a pain i had to start the run over 3 times due to being under leveled. thats why i did what i did. and dont forget the warrior ring its the most useful
i played this when i was maybe 11 or so back in 92-93 era, if i remember right, and it took me weaks to get that far, i dont think i ever finished it, i remember the thunder sword and i think thats all we could find, you know back before internet had gamefaqs, when you dialed 900 numbers for guides lmao. great game. many hours can be lost in this game!
The Game boy version of this SUCKS!!! the music was changed and they added an anoying voice that tells you what sword you just picked up. check it out
yea i thought i was just as badass too, but yea.. that's pretty sick to do it in under 2 hours. start to finish with levels. he was smarter than we were about it. it's all good, now it's much easier =). -benji
you coulda gotten the Blizzard Bracelet early, the moment you got the Water Ball and Paralysis. Just Paralyze the female guard, enter, don't speak to ANYONE, and just go to the basement. But, I think you were going to get the item as well as a Moon Bow.
