  • @petroniaskho ConsIdering his guy was the RNC chairman he probably disagrees with you

  • Dream on pal. The modern GOP is a bunch of hate-filled bigots. No question.

  • @petroniaskho There is nothing more arrogant and intolerant and nasty than a liberal. You want proof? Look at any of the youtube videos posted about Andrew Breitbart's death. I have never read so many horribly nasty comments about someone recently dead. You people ought to be ashamed, but since a sense of shame requires a sense of decency I don't expect any leftest regret.

  • THANK YOU, I knew their were some republicans with sense (besides Ron Paul)

  • @Longforlife98 thank you. but I don't think ron paul is actually a republican, he just uses the name so people can't easily dismiss him.

  • this is stupid.

  • There is not one valid argument to support homosexuals having or raising children & it is you who are a dispicable grub. Oh let me see, here's one; they want to defy the laws of nature, to satisfy their own selfish wants & launch the world into some twisted experiment to see what happens so that they can feel better about themselves. And somehow the world will be a better place as a result? That is the greatest lie. All of history will tell you that what you push as ok is NOT ACCEPTABLE.

  • @Pendu068

Dude, you are wayyyyy out numbered in opinions here, and have long lost this so called "battle." No one watching this video disagrees with you so far, and they probably never will. Just calm down already. Why is this so important to you anyway? Not your ideas, but just trying to prove yourself right on one puny youtube video? It won't make a difference what some guy in Norway thinks of you or not. Just... wow, man. For your own sake, just chill.

  • Comment removed

  • @Pendu068

All of this country's history has been one big experiment. In fact, we've even been called "The Great American Experiment." We've been experimenting with freedom since day one, I tell ya. And we're still doing it today. :D

  • @KingWaltson Not relevant.

  • @Pendu068

If you're talking about me saying you should chill out over this youtube video, then I'm pretty sure it should be relevant to you. You clearly have some kind of insecurity problem if you're so insistent on convincing everyone (you're not, by the way) that gay guys with kids are so bad for the world. Perhaps you yourself are gay and want kids, but are just in denial of it? If that's the case you should seek help from someone who can aid in the process of self acceptance.

  • @KingWaltson And your reponse is precisely why I often refer to homosexual lobbists such as yourself as liars & treacherous extremists. Your irrelevant response presented numerous baseless, red herring lies, for no other reason than to draw the spot light away from your own perverted agenda. Your kind are so accustomed to deceipt that you would say anything to mislead others. Ad hominem & red herring deceipt does not = valid argument. The integrity of my case stands on its own.

  • @Pendu068

Oh, please, don't flatter me. There's nothing extreme about anything I do, and I'm quite straight, thank you. I just want to know why you're REALLY here. And don't avoid the subject this time by echoing you're past arguments. Answer me honestly. Ready? Okay, shoot.

  • @KingWaltson No I'm not going to let you off the hook. You are the one that introduced the nonsense red herring & you were caught out. Maybe you feel foolish for being so stupid & are trying to regain face by persisting, who knows? My "past argument" as you say, remains my current position & so it is you that needs to explain your irrelevant interjection. You really should reflect on your method of engaging discussion as you are doing yourself no favors in terms of earning respect.

  • @KingWaltson Oh & you insult your own intelligence by asking for an explanation as to why I even bothered to post a comment here. You do know how YT works with its often radom vid posts down the side of the screen don't you?, Well I saw it & clicked. In any case, you've heard of free speech haven't you. If you can't handle that & can only utter red herring nonsense, then don't comment at all.

  • @Pendu068

No no no, silly. Why are you STILL here? as in why haven't you left yet? It's obvious to everyone how you got here via related videos. Right now there are three explanations: 1. You're a troll, and engaging in flame wars is recreation for you. 2. You're in denial of something, and you feel that fighting against it on the web helps suppress it. And 3. You might actually think that arguing with a bunch of "red herring liars" is actually productive, in which case you need help.

  • @KingWaltson Ok, let me make it very very simple for you to understand. I was out of here ages ago, but then you kept peddling nonsense & lies. You clearly felt the sting of the truths with which I responded & you have been desperately been trying to save face with red herring ad hominem every since. To make matters worse for you, I haven't allowed you to drag me into your moshpit of juvenile taunts, which has obviously troubled you even more. Thus endeth the lesson. Good bye.

  • @Pendu068

You must really like the taste of red herring. But I digress, you haven't said anything stingily truthful since I started talking to you. You just keep calling me a liar, when a question can't be a lie since it's not a statement. So I'll ask again, why are you still here? Why do my "juvenile taunts" entice you to return? What do you have to prove so badly that you keep responding? I'm just curious. Why is this all so important to you? Why do you want to dominate this thread?

  • @Pendu068

Now I don't know which of those three you are, so I'll ask yet again, why are you really STILL here?

  • @Pendu068 what are you even talking about

  • Always a fundie or two on these youtube vids.

  • @Pendu068

Then what do they 'lie and deceive' about? That they're normal human beings? That they're ABLE to raise children who need homes?

Is the movement for equal rights under the law some sort of grand masterplan aimed at destroying the US?

Oh, no wait, you just think it's "disgusting" and cannot stand above your own comfort-zone. You probably also believe evolution to be a global lie that has gone on for 150 years. Despicable fundamentalist.

  • @Pendu068

You assume way too much as well, Mr! How can you jump to the idea that gay people are a bunch of liars? Do you think they lie about being in love?! They've probably been in more love then you'll ever be, because judging by how intent you are at proving yourself, you probably just sit on your ass all day and post mean things in threads! Geez!

  • @KaylaKandyKoted I'm not talking about a persons warm, fuzzy feelings, Missy!. And yes they are deceivers, frauds & liars, You only have to read the lies told in this thread by homosexuals to verify that reality. They hijack & lie about the very meaning of words to water down what it is that they are. They lie about what they want & they lie about a most harmful & sinister experiment to raise children so that they can satisfy their own selfish feelings. Yes they are liars.

  • People, people, please, settle down. Don't feed the trolls, it's bad for the internet.

  • @Pendu068

There is something terribly wrong with you if you think that just because one teenaged LGBT activist fibbed on youtube, then all gay people are dishonest. If you're so worried about society you should grow up and stop basing all of your poor assumptions off of stereotypes, because that's what really hurts humanity, stereotypes.

  • @Pendu068

YOUR TROLL STATUS HAS BEEN CONFIRMED.

  • @Pendu068

What selfish wants? Wanting to get married and raise a family is selfish now?

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @KokoChan900 Yes you are being incredibly selfish. You have absolutely no idea of what it is to have & raise children. Yet out of complete ignorance you treat it as if it is some rite of passage, a tick in the box, towards making you feel whole & complete & an accepted part of society. Yes there are many times of great joy when raising children & for every great moment there are times of immense concern, worry, pain & heartbreak. As I am sure that even you would testify,, cont'd

  • @KokoChan900 life can be very cruel at the best of times, but that you think it ok to inflict your expectations on what is already so fragile, is so incredibly selfish, that yes, you will raise immense anger & opposition against you.Regards adoption, I take my hat off to heterosexual couples who take on such a commitment. The adopted child already faces significant challenges in life as they grow older. Some will take it in their stride, others will not.In your efforts to make,,cont'd

  • @KokoChan900 yourself feel accepted, you would introduce another major stumbling block of confusion into the child’s life.NO WAY is that normal or acceptable. In fact it serves only one purpose, which is that of making you feel good. Furthermore the institution of marriage was only ever established so that society could regulate the social expectations, obligations & responsibilities attendant upon procreation between a man & a woman. Your argument totally disrespects,,cont'd

  • @KokoChan900 this historical fact & furthermore takes absolutely no regard for what is already a fragile environment by its nature, that being the child's healthy, stable upbringing & psychological well being & development. In your selfish efforts to inflict your expectations upon the world, your kind are now insisting upon changing the very meaning of words & sound traditional institutions. You think it acceptable to experiment with the lives & minds of future generations, cont'd

  • @KokoChan900 so that you can feel accepted.Generally speaking people accept that you might have been dealt a difficult hand in life. I also agree that you should be accepted as contributing members of society & as things stand today, if I were to see you minding your own business & being attacked by others, I would even step in to defend you from harm. There is no room for that kind of hate under normal circumstances. Cross the line though in expecting the same marriage &, cont'd

  • @KokoChan900 children raising rites as heterosexual couples & you will be interpreted as threatening reasoned established laws, historical traditions, our children & future generations. From there you are on your own. I am happy for you to live in peace & tolerance, I empathise with your issues, but the answer is NO

  • @Pendu068

I find it amusing to see that you couldn't respond in regards to my previous comment, and continued to just call us selfish. Why is that? Were you unable to conjure a valid argument to challenge my ability to show that the same reasons you use to keep homosexuals from adopting and marrying are the same reasons that justify the Salem witch trials?

  • @KokoChan900 We have already established (read previous posts) that you are a liar & a treacherous deceiver. That you tried another irrelevant subterfuge was no surprise. Hence why it was ignored. This thread is not about so called witches, but about the harm that your kind propose to inflict upon modern civilisation, the family unit & helpless child victims. Your selfish wants have been considered depraved throughout all history for good reason & so it shall remain. Grow a brain.

  • @Pendu068 Our kind IS modern civilization. What century are you from, grandpa?

  • @Pendu068

Seriously, only old people try to blame a group of people for being "evil" and "a threat to society" not that I have anything against old people, but they are after all from an era where prejudice (such as the kind you so eloquently exemplify) was considered tolerable, and so the majority of discrimination comes from them.

  • @KokoChan900 Another one of your compulsive lies I see. Readers of this thread have already learned that you will say anything to justify yourself and will take little notice of your empty words. You know very well that your opposition comes from all age groups, races and creeds, so why even try to delude yourself. Only the ignorant and deceived share your fantasy.

  • @Pendu068

Wow. You just made the most epic fail I've ever seen on youtube.

  • @Pendu068 But I digress. If anything, heterosexual parents are more of a threat to your "child victims" than gay couples who usually put much more thought into raising children than straight ones do, and the act of raising a child in such a tolerant household (unlike yours apparently) can do nothing more than educate a child on moral values of acceptance, equality, and what it means to love. Honestly, what do you find so "threatening" about gays with kids? How does it "damage" anyone?

  • @KokoChan900; You can't read can you!...Society's reasons for not allowing homsexuals to parent children are all fully outlined in my previous replies. Neither do most societies allow single parents to adopt children. Think about that one for a moment....One mother, or one father = no adoptive children... Hmmm; two mothers, or two fathers..Same conditions, same issues, but double the quantity. It's called, acting in "the best interests of the child" not to. What you want is selfish.

  • @Pendu068

You're more confused about this than any child who will ever be raised by gay, adoptive parents. Those kids that you so desperately want to protect need more protection from your medieval ignorance.

  • @KokoChan900 There you go again. Another one of your lies... The word is 'HOMOSEXUAL' so cut the subterfuge and call it like it is. Or maybe you are ashamed of that truth also. And yes children and future generations will be protected from your kind whatever the cost.

  • @KokoChan900 Stop the lies... You mean that you want children to be raised by homosexuals. There's a truth that even grubs like you are too ashamed to admit. Understandably so.

  • @Pendu068

And if you think that everything I am saying right now is a lie, wait a few more years until gay marriage is legalized in EVERY STATE IN AMERICA. It is going to happen. Just like black freedom, and women sufferage, it IS GOING TO HAPPEN. And they shall raise families too! Kind, loving families that are raised on morals of acceptance, and equal treatment! Families who prosper in love! Who want to help one another; Jew, Gentile, black man, white!

  • @Pendu068

Human beings are like that. We want to live in each others' happiness, not each others' misery! We want there to be opportunity to share each others' lives in the bonds of marriage, not alone and in the cold separation of archaic rituals! We want to help future generations to grow and prosper in both new and old knowledge, not to let them fall into the pits of ignorance, and discrimination!

  • @KokoChan900 Go live in each others 'happiness', I could care less, other than to warn you that you condemn yourself. If you want to do so in peace, then leave children and marriage alone. If you want war then keep going down the path you are on.

  • @Pendu068

lol dude your talkn to someone who said they left. XD

  • @hatman900 Correction dude.. The little grub had posted several comments up till my last, but the 'heat' was obviously too much for him and I guess he must have deleted them.

  • @Pendu068

Okay umm, why are you even watching this video if you hate gay people so much? I know ken Mehlman is a hipocrite for suddenly supporting gay marriage, but the way you "condemn" them is only guaranteeing that you condemn yourself. Geez.

  • @Pendu068

haha sure. i bet they just deleted them because they thought you were a bigot.

  • @Pendu068

Freedom, love, peace, and acceptance shall in spite of all that you say, ring from every city! Ring from every mountain! Ring from the rivers, valleys, towns, hills, and oceans! In the name of democracy, IT. SHALL. RING!

  • @KokoChan900 And so it shall, but not for the 'bus' that you are on. /watch?v=D9QwDtohImc&feature=related

  • @KokoChan900

Nice job quoting Dr. King there, Ms. Chan.

  • @Pendu068

And where's you're last comment go? I just responded to it, and now it's gone.

  • @Pendu068

I think you're holding back on me, Pendu. I want to hear what you have to say next, and so do all the youtubers who are reading the comments on this video... If there are any.

  • Comment removed

  • @Pendu068

You're the only one here who's sick, Mr. "I go around youtube commenting hate speeches on every gay rights video I see" Yeah, I can go to your page and see what you've done over the last few days. Pretty sad, really.

  • Comment removed

  • @Pendu068

Judging by you're video commenting history, you spend a lot of time bashing the LGBT community, and not much else. For someone who hates us so much, you certainly are fixated on us. Why? Are you gay yourself, and just afraid to admit it? Is that why you are so intent on hating? Because you are afraid of the truth?

  • @Pendu068

I'm transgender, a lesbian, and I have two children. Deal with it, bitch.

  • @KokoChan900 Ok to prove a point, I've just been to your page & on it you claim to be a 16 y.o, boy trapped in girl's body. Yet in your post, you tell lies about having two children etc.. Yawn. Like most extremists you can't bring yourself to be truthful. This is what we despise as much as anything. And you wonder why people are opposed to you. Any intelligent human being will see straight through you. I'd suggest you think about that for a while.

  • @Pendu068

Okay so I did lie about the kid part, but I'd like to have kids one day, it's not my fault that people like you keep voting against letting us adopt.

  • @KokoChan900 And your admission is proof positive of my point. I have watched this & numerous other similiar debates rage where extremists spin their lies & deceitful treachery for no other purpose, I repeat, NO OTHER PURPOSE, than to whip up a sensational storm of frenzied hate & ignorant sympathy. From there your kind cry 'Woe are we, the victims of our self inflicted persecution'. You are not the victims. You are the perpetrators. At least you had the courage to admit your lie.

  • @KokoChan900 That said, I do have emapthy for you, if of course you are telling the truth. It doesn't change my position on marriage & children etc.Again if you are being honest in your home page then I want you to know that I do not hate or despise you in any way other than the way in which you are being dishonest & belligerent for no reason other than you read words without respecting the context. Society does not hate you so stop saying that it does. Maybe you hate yourself.

  • @Pendu068

I love you Pendu068! ;D <3 <3 <3 And everyone else, including myself! Love and peace for the world regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, or political views! Can I hear a woot woot? (Crowd goes woot woot!)

  • Absolutely NO!..This guy has it so wrong. Marriage is & always has been about the union of one man to one woman it's that simple. End of story. To put forward the 'fluffy feelings' argument as proposed in this video is no less than a lie. Those who support homosexual marriage are by default, also supporting marriage & next the child raising rights of all who claim to be 'in love'.That includes, bisexuals, trangenders & committed group sexers as well. That is sick & our kids deserve better.

  • @Pendu068

You have no moral value, and deserve to burn in hell for you're ignorance. Why the hell are you even watching this video, you fucking bigotish piece of rotten shit?

  • @Pendu068

No, you deserved better. I feel sorry for you having been raised so poorly enough to find it necessary to help prevent the world's progress by clinging to such medieval thoughts and ways. These people claim to be in love because they ARE in love, you on the other hand, have clearly never felt such an emotion because if you did, you'd recognize it when you see it, and because you don't, I feel sorry for you.

  • @Pendu068

Yeh, christianity - that came so so late in human history - has a right to declare what is a marriage. Right. And yes, our children obviously deserve better; they're obviously better off sitting in orphanages. Who cares if lesbians are generally the best parents in the world, it "sick" and should obviously be banned because the US is such a freedom-loving country.

Your views are ridiculous to the point of being wilfully ignorant. But obviously it's standard for the American fundie.

  • No, they are fine without it.

  • why is marriage endorsed by the state anyway? its stupid just because two people get "married" dosn't mean they should get tax breaks... marriage is a religious activity, ever hear of SEPERATION of CHURCH and STATE?

  • @thedisbatcher That is simply a lie.

  • @Graynumber lol how is it a lie?

  • @thedisbatcher Marriage is not a religious activity. You said yourself that people get tax breaks. which is a governmental privilege.

  • @Graynumber Yes the government gives tax breaks to endorse marriage... a religious activity. it would be like giving tax breaks to people who go to church every sunday...

  • @thedisbatcher Marriage is not a religious activity. It may have been at one point but it certainly ain't now. Tax breaks are not to "endorse" getting married. They're a benefit.

  • @Graynumber being in a relationship is not a religious activity, marriage didn't start until Christianity spread, which requires marriage before sex.

The government does endorse marriage by giving preferential benefits to a religious ceremony.

Here is a quote from the constitution "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion"

I see no reason why the government should give people tax breaks etc just because they are romantically involved, regardless of their gender.

  • @thedisbatcher "Marriage didn't start until Christianity spread." That's not even remotely true. The government doesn't care whether you had a ten minute ceremony on your lawn or a two hour Catholic shindig. There are no "preferential benefits."

You're arguing against marriage. Not gay marriage.

  • @Graynumber There are preferential benefits, people who get married have more government benefits than two people who choose to just be in a relationship and not get married. Marriage is a Judeo-Christian ceremony that started in ancient Israel and spread throughout the world with the Roman empire. Our government is subsidizing a religious ceremony with tax breaks, and that is against the first amendment. Marriage should only be done in a church and has no place in the government.

  • @thedisbatcher "Marriage is a Judeo-Christian" No. Read a book before looking dumb on the internet.

  • @Graynumber You are the one who looks dumb

  • Comment removed

  • Oh great, this closet case Republican hypocrite cares about gay rights now that he's out of power. Awesome. You're a joke Ken. Thanks for helping to put Bush/Cheney into office.

  • "congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion."

that includes legislation to enforce religious zealotry in the realm of governmental recognition of civil unions

i always find it bizarre the the biblical and constitutional fundamentalists are the most eager to ignore the bible and the constitution when such ignorance suits their biases

  • And we all know that the only reason that Ken is saying this now is because he's on payroll to do so.

This man will turn on the gay community again the second that someone with a bigger checkbook comes along. Do NOT trust this man... he'll stab us in the back when it suits him to do so.

I like how when he says "requires people to look in the mirror," he has to look away. If I was him, I wouldn't be able to look at myself in the mirror, either.

  • My next video will be "Why Ken Mehlman should go fuck himself."

This whole thing is your fault, you floor-licking weasel... YOU are the one who went out of your way to victimize the gay community... YOU are the one who got anti-gay ballot measures passed in many states.

Your legacy is that you taught Republicans that the best way to get elected is to take as much corporate money, fuck over the citizens and attack the gays.

And all because you were too spineless to come out before.

  • Too little, too late, Ken. You'll never be a hero. Our memory is long and you will never be someone I want to fight alongside.

  • Other, better men are saying the same things. Follow them.

There's MONEY and ADVANCEMENT in being pro-gay now. There's NOTHING in being a bigot. Ten years hence, you won't be able to see hate for fags for a nickel.

Ken is just looking out for number one again: see that mouth? that mouth is, and has always been, for SALE.

  • Fuck you, you little whore. You spent the last twenty years fellating the enemy and you still are. Don't worry, we'll win without you and your hideous friends. There's PLENTY wrong with the GOP apart from it's policies on gays, and you're still rolling in the shit with them on all of them. Don't get your dirt on us, you ugly, morally-compromised, cowardly and, above all, LITTLE man.

  • Don't ever for one minute forget Mehlman's leadership role in the many anti-gay marriage referendums that swept the nation during his tenure as head of the Republican National Committee.

  • This scumbag was instrumental in getting numerous anti-same sex marriage amendments on state ballots back when he was head of the Republican Party. I wish this ugly piece of shit was straight.

  • Hypocrite. You and Karl Rove should be exiled for your use of anti-gay propaganda during the Bush Administration to fill your bank accounts. HOW DARE YOU.

  • Personally I think we should wait 6 years for the most homophobic gay-associating people to come around to our opinion, like with Ken here. Fuck off to Arkansas and take back all your Fear-the-gays pamphlets before you talk about what is right Mehlman. I cudn't give a shit bout what you want. Most of us knew you were gay YEARS before you wanted us to anyway you Powerhungry-cocksucking whore.

  • that's fantastic for him to say these things now, when it's been declared that DOMA is unconstitutional, when we are very close to achieving our rights and conveniently when the election year is coming right around the corner. but we all have to remember Mehlman's own hand in the anti-gay rights movement on multiple occasions over the years, you have alot to appologize for mister.

  • Same sex marriage is legal in Canada. It changed nothing. Its all fear basically, nothing will happen but allow others to marry those that they love.

  • Kenny, you're late to the dance. One can only surmise that your 2004 Kenny the GOP crusader was more concerned with obtaining power and money than freedom and equality. Love that predatory bulldozer capitalism, ..eh? Most of your GOP comrades still embrace discrimination. The very recent vote in Minnesota proves it. Nearly all GOP pols voted YES for LGBT discrimination for their state constitution. Next up: the scary "save the children" ads from NOM and rest of the anti-gay industry. Despicable.

  • To the people who are anti gay marriage that have been posting hateful comments I have a message to you. Why did you watch this then? Their must be the slightest fiber of your being that is interested in this topic, which is good. It is only with a spark of interest that one can choose to fight the inequality of homosexuals. Even if you are spewing hatred you are still fueling the fire for this fight, so you are helping this cause even if you don't want to. Thought you might want to know that.

  • @357lenny ME thinks this lady doth protest too much.

  • @357lenny Politic: from Greek πολιτικός, "of, for, or relating to citizens." You and I are both citizens but we are most certainly not both religious.

  • fuck you and all your gay homosexual friend's you idiot

  • @lfmendoza100 If there's an idiot among us, it is he/she who cannot master English grammar basics. So fuck you, your hatred AND your unnecessary apostrophe.

  • @lfmendoza100 what about straight homosexuals? fucking retard

  • @lfmendoza100 Only the hot cute ones.... sorry but you don't make the cut.

  • Melman is the Roy Cohn of the 21st Century. Pleae Ken, STFU and go home.

  • @prayawaythegay3 Keep diddling your own god and leave mine alone please.

  • just how many sides of your mouth can you speak from?

  • Homophobia - The irrational fear of getting sodomized

  • @357lenny Gays are rabid only in their self-defense and self-preservation against "the righteous." There's no agenda beyond that of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

  • In the old testament slave meant servant in Hebrew culture. From what I understand slavery wasn't horrid like in the U.S.

  • I mean, yeah, but what really matters is that Republican LEGISLATORS vote for marriage equality, and they're too scared by their higher-ups in the party to make a vote of conscience. So, while Republican support grows, hardly a single GOP legislators has made a vote in favor of FULL marriage equality.

  • @357lenny Of course they're going to push it. If you were denied a basic human right on the sole basis that you don't hold the same interests as other people, and you desperately wanted that right, wouldn't you fight for it? Aren't those opposing gay marriage just as "rabid" in pushing their agenda on society?

  • The very Republicans have the reputation of 'breaking' the sanctity of marriage by constant stories of affairs and infidelity, that there really isn't much to defend in the 'holy matrimony' being only between a man and a woman.

  • What a self-serving pile of dirt! Where was he when action might have made a difference? Where was he when a male prostitute was in the White House Press Corps? Either this guy or Karl Rove was involved. He stands up for what might serve him at the time. I don't think he has any convictions, just opportunities that he tries to make for himself.

  • Suppose a republican politician did vote for homosexual marriage. What does it gain him? He alienates his base, and no liberal will ever vote for a republican simply because he voted for homosexual marriage. So it's the kiss of death ... political suicide.

Moreover, why would a republican want to vote for homosexual marriage in the first place? Homosexuality is evil in the eyes of God. You are choosing to oppose God. That is a losing position.

  • @MaryWaterton @357lenny WRONG: According to the catholic church, only same-sex behaviour is a sin. In the same way that heterosexual sex outside of marriage is wrong. Which would mean that entitling gays to civil marriage provided they didnt have sex would be legitimate.

For protestants it is different because they believe gay thoughts, not just gay actions, are immoral and need to be purged through "ex-gay" therapy sessions.

So catholics actually think you can be gay and christian technically

  • @MamaMario13 Yes I know that the catholics allow gays to be in the church. But the catholic church is now blaming homosexuals for their priest molesting kids. They have also threatened to take away catholic charities for the poor away if washington allows gay marriage.

  • @MaryWaterton YOUR god Mary. Not mine. I doubt you'd be so accepting of a Muslim seeking to impose his/her god upon you. Eat your ignorance alone in silent humility.

  • This would be a good step in a less hypocritical republican party. It's hypocritcal that the party who touts "small government" and individual liberty wants to dictate who can and cannot get married. Life partners of every variety benefit society in many ways because two can live financially more efficiently than one - leaving more money for discretionary spending. They also can take care of each other in times of crisis. When people take care of each other, the government doesn't have to.

  • It's not the 'Republicans' who need to be convinced...

  • @357lenny if by garbage you mean ignorant, intolerant, religious-based, GOOP-propagated ugliness and hate, then yeah, by all means STOP.

  • Intelligence will over come ignorance. Those who are hating will someday see karma does come around.

  • I agree with him

  • I am adult and I don't like you at all

  • Gay marriage is child abuse. Stop acting like its the same as straight marriage. Its like everyone has lost their mind and were all supposed to act like its cool. You are not going to take what my wife and I have and turn it into your own thing. We waited to have intercourse until we were married. Now our kids have no stigma. We did the honorable thing. Stop trying to make gay sex the same thing. It is not and it will never be. Lets make marriage stronger, not meaningless for the kids sake.

  • @firesidechet excuse me, but gay marriage is the same as straight marriage. Marriage is the legal and emotional joining of two people in love. two PEOPLE. This country was founded on the principal that ALL MEN were created EQUAL and endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS. Gay marriage will do nothing to anyone but allow people to marry whomsoever they choose. It won't affect you. It's not about the sex, anyway.

  • @GondorLadyGwen

Woah, I wrote a paper for school arguing for the same cause, with the same pursuit of happiness argument just two months ago. What a coincidence! :D

  • @firesidechet Religion is child abuse. As for whatever it is you and your wife have, I doubt anyone is seeking that -- symbiotic hate and intolerance of others. Congratulations on living your life as you choose. But to conflate the issue of marriage equality with sex only shows the depth of your misunderstanding and fear. Now go tend to your own marital garden and keep your uneducated opinions and biases in your own yard.

  • @firesidechet

    "Gay marriage is child abuse"

    That's a conservative lie.

    a. plenty of gay parents havent abused kids

    b. plenty of straight parents HAVE

c.i suspect if all gays said "we want to be married and have no kids" you would still have a "problem"...ergo this isn't about "child abuse"

  • Leviticus 18:22. Abraham Lincoln was a strong Christian. I say no or call it a union not marriage.

  • @phoenixx234 doesn't Leviticus also say slavery is ok? You need a better argument than that, buddy.

  • @phoenixx234 Go stuff your pie hole shellfish, troglodyte. With some luck, you'll be allergic and rapture yourself.

  • @phoenixx234

"Abraham Lincoln was a strong Christian"

Whoopde do. There are plenty of Christians today who will tell you "my religion teaches against homosexuality but it's your life" There are Christians who do not have a "problem" with this same as you.

Lots of Christians think affairs and divorce are sins...yet many STILL voted for 2x married McCain, 2x Reagan, 3x Newt, MAY x Barr...and probably STILL listen to 4 x married Limbaugh.

  • A gay Republican is a lot like a Jewish Nazi.
