@DionNL95 Frames per Second on the TM300 are adjusted based on the recording format that you shoot in. For example in 1080i this camcorder shoots at 24fps.
Also other lenses can be used with this camcorder although an adapter may be necessary for some.
Thanks for the review; but I'm afraid there is an error in it. You say that this is a 3 CCD camcorder; when, in fact, it is a 3 CMOS or "3MOS" camcorder. There IS a difference, you know.
i have had this camera for a long time now. and i still cant figure out how to smoothen the slow motion so it isnt so choppy. send me a message and help me!
I have this camera and I think that the review is spot-on precise overall. The cold shoe on the camera was not properly explained, what was shown was the base where the cold shoe attachment is connected to the camera. The cold shoe itself is positioned in the usual manner so that any peripheral attached to the cold shoe will have its main axis of action lined up with that of the camera. Too bad they didn't take the extra 5 seconds to show the cold shoe mounted on the camera.
Although its basic pictures are great it still creates thick purple lines from any sharp light sources in the picture which can be noticed in several cheaper panasonic hd cameras.
Impressive camera. I'm wondering if I'm gonna spend $1,700.00, should I just get the Canon 7D? Must admit, the quality is quite impressive and I really like AVCHD!
hf s10 is just a wee bit better. The touch screen on this one is just too gimmicky but it does have an eye level view finder which I really miss on my hf s10. I think that the canon has more features also
right, type in s10 and compare some of the sample vids to see for yourself. Has pretty perfect low light but the tm300 does a great job also, Just not a fan of that touch screen. gets too unresponsive the more you use it. it is native 24p
I filmed a part in my garden on a SDHC-card en after that I put the card in my full HD televison (that is able to read SDHC-cards) and the quality was amazing!!
Same situation here...idk which one will be better..the hdc says its good but i havent seen any footage that is convincing enough...the hv30 and 40 on the other hand has lots of test footage and looks amazing
Thanks. I'm really leaning towards buying this soon, I just wish there would be a price drop to make it hit $999. Why does the title say DMC? Isn't HDC?
does this camera shoot in AVI and can you put in a memory card also can you put a fisheye lens on it???? please respond

so for image q go s10??? the tm300 has native 24p right?
hallal55 2 years ago

naireland 2 years ago
ah its so tough becuase im probaly going to use 24p mode 80% of the time, does native 24p look better? or make a big diff?
hallal55 2 years ago
TM300 records native 60i but the video is converted in-camcorder to 24p.
Only Sanyo provides native progressive record, but the quality is no match for the panasonic.
However canon has the 24p and 30p mode but they are converted in-camcorder as well.
mahamza86 2 years ago
oh so also the tm300 is 24p in 60i mode?
is thier a big diffrence between native 24p and converted 24p ( from 60i)
hallal55 2 years ago
I don't think it's that much.
mahamza86 2 years ago
I have the HDC-TM300 and it's REALY nice!!
