hello! beautifull your ideas, I congratulate you, do not write very good English if I fail to pardon a word I'm from mexico and I'm using the google translator. you can wash these items be? greetings and thanks for your great help
hola!!! bellisimas tus ideas, te felicito, no escribo muy bien el ingles perdon si fallo en alguna palabra soy de mexico y estoy usando el traductor google. estas piezas las puedes lavar?? saludos y gracias por tu gran ayuda
I want to ask you just one thing... Where do you come up with so many fantastic ideas? Do you buy magazines or do you attend some sort of course? Whatever it is that you do... WOW YOU'RE JUST AMAZING TERESA...
Thank you. What I do is look at something real, like a flower. Sometimes I will go for a walk and create a rough draft of the pattern in my head or wake up in the middle of the night with an idea for a pattern. The weave is just from basic weaving. I did a square similar to this about 4 years ago for a granny square exchange. I got bored with the same old pattern so I started making them up as I went.
I have also gotten ideas from pictures and video that I have taken while out traveling. As you already have noticed, my husband and I spend a lot of time at the ocean. I have used pictures to capture a shape for later use. I have a dolphin shape,(well it is supposed to be a dolphin) in my freeform crochet piece.
oh!thats gonna be nice if make larger to a multiple colors of strips put together and frame it.I definetly gonna try this thanks teresa its gorgeous!God bless you my friend!
Teresa, this is adorable. Great job. I especially liked your last comment about using double crochet to tighten up the square so there's less open space between the strips. Will you be piecing together squares to make a blanket or afghan? I wonder if giant strips would work. Thanks again for your creative, well presented material. You're the best!
Thank you. I am actually making individual squares as swatches for tutorials to add to my granny afghan and this will be one of them. I think doing a full size giant strips would work great. The only think I would suggest is to maybe secure the edges where it overlaps so that the strips don't twist out of place during washing.
I'm going to add this to my other "Teresa inspired projects".Eventually I'll get around to uploading previous projects that I've learned from your vids. Thanks Again

Thank you. Are you going to make long strips and then weave them together or are you making individual square?
tjw1963 3 years ago
I am gonna do it just like you did in the video.
