The transition between the two parts of the song you used is a little choppy, but the rest is amazing. The timing was spot-on, and even without knowing the plot, the entire thing just...flowed and synced.

Well, I can say I was most thrilled to win third place for this...I did work almost way too hard on this thing. XDD;; ...Really, I almost prefer WMM to Vegas, not just because it's easier to work with, but also because it is so much simpler, really. With Vegas, you have to worry about overdoing, sometimes. XD Whereas with WMM, you sort of have to focus on clips and timing, as you don't have much more to work. ;D But anyway, I'm pleased you enjoyed it.

I rip my clips from the DVDs (you can purchase ripper programs on the Internet, or at least download a free trial of them), and then just click "import video" in WMM, select the clip and upload it. :) For files already in WMM or a similar file on your computer, it's one less step.

Umm well. There's a cleaner way to do it.

1. Rip DVDs with DVD Decrypter. (Its free)

2. Group files into however many segments you want using DGIndex.

3. Clean up footage with AviSynth

4. Create files for editing with lossless codec.

I'm sure your way is fast but if you don't do the steps correctly the video quality can look like shit.

It's an anime called Princess Tutu...there is a manga, but it is very little like the anime and it is hard to come by. You can buy the complete set of Tutu on DVD pretty cheaply (that's six volumes, 26 episodes in all), or you can watch it here on Youtube. :)

I find it interesting that you say that. Although Tutu can be happy and cheerful in the everyday plot of the story, I think a lot of the framework of the story is rather dark ad grim, even if it does have a happy ending. (And personally, I think there are few animes better than Tutu, but that's just me.) I'm glad you liked it despite our lack of agreement on the series choice, however...thank you for commenting!

That would be why. The framework of Tutu, based around stories and their connection to the story Ahiru is following, is only faintly introduced in the first season. The second season delves more into the darker side of the series and the characters...even the second half of the first season goes deeper into characters. I admit, some parts in the first season are light-looking, but there's more. Thank you...it was a hassle, to make, but it turned out well. Ai, me as well; LOVE Nightwish. <3

I have to second the1koolkitty's comment. Princess Tutu has one of the deepest stories I've had the pleasure of seeing in anime -- and it unfolds in such a way that really takes your heart. I stopped after the first few episodes for a long time too, but it was a huge mistake. I wish I had kept going back then. I'm very glad I picked it up again.

The only real complaint I have in this is that Fakir died at the end (but that's just a sappy fangirl thing >>; ) and that the music seemed to skip at one part. Other than that, it was AWESOME. I mean, like, mind-blowingly so. It gave me chills and was so dramatic. I especially loved how the chorus fit the characters.
