I followed all instructions very carefully and even went over everything 3 times again and it didn't work for me? I am using After Effects CS5.5 on an new iMac? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

when i import my file on mocha it doest respond and says (app crash) thats with a .wmv but if i try it with a .mpg it says failed to open please help if you know whats wrong
