  • id do him.. the rider

  • he's behind the bit a bunch in the beginning, but overall a beautiful horse and rider.

  • @snowboarden11 the horse is being held way behind the vertical and on the forehand, croup too high and the rider is behind the motion. The horse could be really nice I think the rider is good enough. Klimke and Balkenhaus never ride horses like this. Nor does Steffen Peters.

  • @YogiNLiza I meant 'the rider isn't good enough."

  • that horse is absolutely stunning!

  • What a wonderfull horse! My compliment for riding him so fantastic. P.s I think its great to train a young horse deeper and lower so he doesnt need to be forced in this topp position all the time. Again, great jobb you do!!

  • Mooi paard & een goede ruiter, Alleen die laarzen.........

  • Really nice horse, but I don't like the way it's ridden...

  • wow i need like desperate help in dressage! I own an arabian but he has the hell of a temper. Any tips?

  • Why do some people hyperflex thier horses and some people say not to? I always get criticised when I ride like that.

  • @ManeNTailFarm2004 Because it overdevelops the horse too fast, because people want results fast and that is what they came up with. Then the horse ends up burning out faster, it can be very dangerous.

  • @ManeNTailFarm2004 : It's a variant on riding style and technique. In my experience, hyperflexion tends to be more Germanic, and recent styles lean heavily towards less flexion. Flexing rings the horse underneath and tends to round the back. But hyperflexion hinders the ability to see forwards, and can make a horse strain against the bit. This goes against principles of English riding, where give to the bit is desired. Many also consider it to be traumatizing for the horse. Look up Rollkur. :)

  • this rider did a good job on this 5 year old, impressive riding and nice work from the horse..

  • Perfect complex! Perfect riding and horse! AMASIING!

  • Mmm................going by the comments i assume you people are in the top ten riders in your country..............lol! NICE HORSE AND ONE OF AUSTRALIAS TOP TALENTED YOUNG RIDERS!

  • the horse is behind the verticle and the poll is not the highest point. He looks very stiff and like his neck is in a vice.

the rider never gives with his hands - doesn't follow the motion.

The horse looks like he could move far better with a correct rider.

  • @YogiNLiza I agree.

  • @OlisaOescortO its a 5 year old at this stage in training and with a horse that young perfection is not everything. as long as the horse is listening and isnt objecting then being behind the vertical doesn't realy matter.

  • wow! very talented horse! but i think somrtimes you schould watch out that you don´t get your horse behind the vertical.

  • Olisa I think it is easy to confuse the horse being behind the vertical with the horse being behind the bit, but they are not necessarily the same thing. The head may combe behind the vertical in a young horse where the head is carried low but as long as he maintains the contact and stretched into the bit it is not a problem.

  • i think it looks easy and smoth! nice horse and excellent riding!

  • wowwow... very nice job!!
