Maintenance on Mini Uzi Airsoft (WA & KWC versions)

Recenty my Uzi has been misfiring ? I maintain it well and use this video for reference ? Any idea? Perhaps I need to lube thebmags better ? Anyway hope you can help. When I fire semi auto it will fire a few bbs then just co2, i then shoot more until another fires out ? Help?

I can get hold of real mini uzi parts, do you think its worth it ridding of all plastic parts for real parts.... i definitely have the tools and ability to make it fit... also thinking of getting an uzi smg folding stock

Great Video! Any chance you could do one on mag maintenance? Seems like a bigger problem for these units is CO2 escaping when inserted because of dry/broken seals.

i broke my z02 part a while ago and just when i replaced it i realised that i had broken z08 when the little tube broke.

i have the same model of gas airsoft uzi, but for some reason i've been having trouble with it. the BBs wont shoot but the gas seems to flow smoothly as normal.

Thanks for the detailed instructional. I just put the lower back on and the gun won't release the hammer after I cock it and pull the trigger. Any suggestions? Also, What kind of rail do you have mounted? I've been looking at them but was afraid they wouldn't fit. Thanks

I'm very interested by the mechanic in this gun. I would really like to find a cutaway of the gun to know how the recoil is done. There are few springs in this and it's hard to figure out the recoil mechanism works. Contact me if you have an animation / image of the mechanic.

I have tried all kinds of gas in the KWC magazine with green gas converter, and all work well with the exception of HFC 134a, which did not give the gun enough kick to fire a full magazine on the KWC.

just for common knowlege 134a does work on the western arms, cause i'm using 134a right now just to make sure and it's working fine on my WA

yeah i love my gun too but i find it so hard to find mags, so i use my M4CQB as a primary, uzi as a secondary, and a WA 1911 SCW as my sidearm.

All parts can be ordered from KWC directly. You send them an email explaining what parts you need, and they will send you a quote. You can pay them via paypal or credit card. I would order several parts including the piece i show in the video just to be safe. I've broken several of those so far. :)

Hey dude, could you send me KWC's email address, as well as their website if they have one? My friend has this uzi, and it's not working cuz the part on the nozel that feeds the bb's into the barrel is broken. I've looked EVERYWHERE and I can't find any replacement parts for the uzi. It's an awesome gun and it's a shame that it doesn't work at all just because of that one part.

This does not come with C02 and comes with a very small bag of .2 BB's (40 count) You can buy C02 online at stores like Amazon and they will ship to most cities around the world.

Not really. I ocassionally use a can of canned air like they use for a computer and dust out the "track" where the bb's are stacked, just in case any small pieces of dirt get in there. Generally you dont want any oil where the BB is going to travel, as the oil can make the bb's sticky and then they jam. I've heard of the metal pin that releases the gas on the back of the mag sticking, and people have put a tiny amount around that to make it work smoothly again. But be careful.

It does not come with RIS. You have to buy one that is made for the real Mini Uzi. Try Vector Arms company.

Yes, KWC provided Western Arms with the design of the Airsoft Mini Uzi, and Western Arms decided to go with a Green Gas based magazine instead to make it different, that is the only difference. HFC 134a is not powerful enough to properly run this gun. You need Green Gas (with proper converter) or C02 cartridges.

ummm... I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure that since western arms is a japanese company, they are subject to japanese airsoft FPS regulations so they have to run on 134A. However they run perfectly fine on green gas or propane.

The guns are exactly the same design so both can handle any kind of gas. The gun was designed using C02 cartridges. Western Arms borrowed the design from KWC and converted the magazine with the KW058 using green gas. The magazine is the only major difference. C02, Propane or Red Gas is stronger so will wear down the parts faster. HFC 134a barely gives you enough power to push the bolt back & forth and FPS is REALLY bad so I dont recommend it.

I have the Kwc mini uzi as well! it is an awesome gun, but unfortunatley part z13 ( the metal tube with a ring at the end) snapped as you said it was prone to. Can you send me any and all information on how and where to order this part. it has been a real bummer owning a broken uzi for a couple months. possibly post a link to where i should order it. thank you

go to the KWC website, and email KWC customer service. They handle all parts orders thru their email. They are very nice, and have every part you may need for your Mini Uzi, and they will ship it to you no matter what country you are in. The prices are very good, and the delivery is very fast :)

And here I got another information. UZI is the first pistol we coopersated with WA. They use our tooling to combine they shooting system.

Furthermore, no matter the UZI from KWC or WA, both of them are all Half Metal model. The only difference is KWC is doing CO2 and WA is doing Green Gas.

It turns out, both the Western Arms and KWC are ABS/Metal. The only difference is the WA is green gas, and KWC is C02.

try using a pair of pliers, and force the 4 "teeth" inwards. This way they are more "loose" then try punching it out with a pen.

Are they both of metal, are they resistent and of good quality?

The Marui uzi is the "full" version, and is an AEG, or electric gun. The Western Arms and KWC versions are ABS with a good amount of metal parts, and are gas powered blowback guns. The Western Arms version uses green gas, the KWC uses C02. with an adapter bought from KWC, you can use green gas on it as well.
