Most road marking removal equipment I have seen involves a special hot compressed air torch/lance powered by propane gas and compressed air mixed together and the infra red radiation,flame heat and hot air remove lines effctively if rather noisily(hence the need for eardefenders/gloves/protective clothing and face/eye protection).
they need to make the one for rubber removal bigger that would take so long

@GingerPainter Basically a pressure washer. Uses water and pressure to remove whatever.
