dude i just got my brand new can am 400 2010 and i already fell in love with it out of all the fourwheelers ive had in the past this is definetly the strongest fastest and most reliable one ive ever had it does great in the mud and water and the belt never slips under water its the best of the best. go can-am!
I have found canams to be the best built and most reliable atvs i know of-and that is not opinonated, i have found out through real life exp...and iv gone 2 whole years of solid abuse on my can am 650, and not a sign of a unreliable machine...in ur opinion, what is better?
what the hell are you talking about man...Can-am is fucking reliable...more then honda kawa yam polaris but the suzuki are close but not enough ...but can-am is super reliable, its been 3 years since mine never had any problems
how many km's are on it, 200 or 300. Thats the only way that a can-am could be reliable...and i have a honda and i know for a fact that a can-am can't touch a honda in reliability
nothing can touch a honda in reliability, i've got a 1997 honda foutrx 300 4x4 and nothing has EVER been wrong with it. never even had it stuck in the mud and i have put that thing through hell.
nothingggg can touch honda, i have a 2001 350, the only thing wrong with it is that the timing chain has slack in it and is making a ticking sound, it is 7 years old and has
18 500 km's on it. I'd like to see a can-am, polaris, or anything else top that
Yeah honda are good but do speed race, pull stuff or endurance and can-an wins but in reliability your hondas win but the new 1 are shit! In the 80's and 90's honda was top but they whent real down after
actually my honda has outpulled a grizzly and a outlander both. and i'm talking about my 500 honda this time, and i'll admit a couple new hondas suck like the rincon and the foreman but the rest are good and very reliable.
w8 do you mean you pulled them out of the mud or back to back on solide?
Because back to back on solide with a chain the outlander would win! I never saw a honda pull a outlander or king quad or even a brute force back to back with a chain
i never said it pulled a 800, it outpulled a can am outlander 500. my 500 rubicon outpulled a outlander 500, dude it's an even displacement match and the honda won, nothing to be mad over jeez. now if it was a rincon against a outlander 650 the outlander would win because honda's rincon sucks, it just isn't much of a four-wheeler. and i'm not a lier, you're just a smart ass punk who thinks they know something before they actually know all the facts. next time learn the facts please. thank you.
Well sorry your right i should of know all the facts before going big on the speach! And im not a smart ass punk, I do have a life well I think I do lol... Sorry again man
it takes a big person to apologize, and i'm sorry as well for taking it to the level it got to. and i'm sure you probably do have a life, but alot of people don't on the internet and you probably know this as well. and it's fine, i'm sorry. and the only quad i know that will outpull a outlander 800 is a arctic cat thunder cat 1000.
The artic cat is weak, a saw a brute force outpull an artic cat 1000, just because its 1000 doesnt mean it use 100% of there capacity it uses about 60% ,Can-am uses 92,7%,King quad uses like up to 60 to 70% and brute force uses something close to 69,09% but its 4x4... So before talking make sure U Know all the facts ... Lol
i do know all the facts man, i drove my friends arctic cat thundercat 1000 chain to chain with outlander 800 and outpulled it, but outlanders are great quads, in early 2010 i'm actually getting a renegade 800r x :P
yea i'm sure, we were on asphalt as well. we did it 3 times in 2 wheel drive, and 3 times in 4 wheel drive. the thundercat won. but can ams are great quads, they guzzle gas faster than any other quad (proven on television and by professional) but it is a very good quad. honda was in the lead with best gas mileage at about 72mpg and can am at 31.8mpg
then do it again and make sure that the guy goes on low and that he check his belt and even maybe change it, because if I can pull the brute force and the brute force can pull the artic cat then I could also!
well something wrong with the outlander because my step dad outpulled my step sisters grand father and guess what my step dad drove the outlander 800 and my step sister grand father was on his artic cat 1000 and lost to my step dad! so thats why I was judgy on your comment
nope, nothing wrong with neither of the four-wheelers. but this weekend i'm going to pick up my blaster then in early 2010 getting a new renegade 800r x. what kind of quad do you got?
Perfect video to show how SHITTTY VISCO LOCK is......i would be the biggest outlander fan if it wasn't for the shittty 4*4 system thats why i got myself a yamaha i love my on-command 4*4 system with just a flick of button front diffs are lock and stay locked which is how it should be!!!!
just for a 400 thats crazy but ive herd its worth it i have a 300 1992 suskie utilty 4wd but we are going out west this summer to the duens and i need some thing alittle new bewteen 250 -500 cc raceing four weeler what do u thinki should get
Can am 400 or higer. My uncle has the outlander 800 that thing flys. The stock suspension is amazing on it and the handling is really good. I reccommend that quad.
i gotta 05 bf 750 there the best machines. my cousin thinkin bout a 08 750 or outlander 800, nort sure since i already gotta 750.... r the 08 that much different than the 05's
I have an '07 Outty 500 MAX & sometimes that visco-lock front diff will get you deeper into trouble, before it tries to get you out of it. Wish they had an over-ride full lock button for it.
i havnt had that many problesm with mine... only its been threw 3 spark plugs cause of the cold i think, and i have to replace the shifter and choke cable witch i think it all has to do with the cold but other then that noo and we do allot of mud rining
I've had so much trouble with my CanAm800. At 6 months the engine blew and had to be rebuilt. The front springs collapsed. The winch had to be replaced. The transmission housing leaked water causing the belt to slip. Then the transmission stopped shifting later and now my ATV is in the shop getting a new clutch because it locked up a few weeks ago. Although the warranty is 3 yrs I still have to pay a $50 dectable for each incident. They're fun and fast but unreliable.
How do you like you tires, I got Vampires on my Foreman and its great till you hit loose ground or sand. Just digs a hole. But great for going through trails and going over logs and shit.
that polaris is a pusyy in the background when u went through that hole and it was in the background... my outlander can keep up with and do better in some spots than my dads 500 polaris and i have a 400 and there suppoed to be the "best" mudding atv haha
ive had to winch out three times with my outyy one it got over the brp sign and shut off another is were i got hungup on a stump... do u know how the foot stands have mettel things under them? they got hungup on that soi had to get winched out and the other time is where i went through the thickest mud ive ever seen but i made it father then my dads polaris :)
yea im concerned about weight though... i dont want it to be heavyier so ill just leave it without them... hopefully in a little while ill get some gator mud tires ill ask for them for christmas and an can am outlander 650 next year :P
I have an 800 exactly like that and it sure kicks ass! I mean I was going over fallen trees and stuff and I didn't even need four-wheel-drive! Yes they're built in Canada, it says right on it.
dude I have a 800 and your visco lok is not working right you need to check your fluid level because that is how that this thing work I have watch all of your video probly 10 times and mine would have work five or six times harder then your would have.
Is this outty for sale? I'm interested :D

I prefer to hill climb with my little kodiak 450 than with my 800, cause it tends to wheelie in places that you dont want it to.

dude , dont forget that the grizzly and outlander are heavy compare to your honda!

but they're bigger and stornger than the honda so why didn't they outpull it? i'm talking chain tied to the back of each four-wheeler.
