Hi Raven how are you doing. I really like your video. I tried making the same book you made in this video. But I can not seem to get the edges looking like yours can you help me. And tell me a tip on how to get it to look like yours thanks. And also have you ever used anything like sway or leather to make a book cover. Please tell me thanks.

what an awesome idea raven! I would love to do this with my niece, who is just now getting interested in diary's and I want to get her started with keeping an art journal too. I will have to look for a similar inexpensive notebook w/ blank pages.

Instead of using the first page, you could get some sturdy card stock in a color matching the fabric to glue over the inner cover. It might hold up better, and would be a cool place to put a book label for your name, etc.

What I love most about Raven, and from just watching here in these videos, her interviews ( loved the one when you were in DALLAS on k104) is that she is so down to earth and so cool! its quite easy, but it takes a lil time, i had an old denim skirt that didn't fit me anymore, used that to give a denim effect and it looked real cool! lol, i kinda made it messy though, coz the fabric i used was kinda thick
