So what are the best weapons for impossible mode? Someone told me the plasma cutter and ripper but im not that big a fan of the ripper

well mostly if you see a complete corpses it 99% is alive

Impossible Mode Is Easy. Stick with the Plasma Cutter, and if you have cash to spend, by the Ripper. Those are the only weapons you'll need. Upgrade Plasma Cutter and Suit Health Only (you don't need to waste on the air, just have air canisters with you), and just save ammo and health. Basically all you need.

Impossible isn't that hard actually, play smart, upgrade the right things. Though it can get tedious at times, like in chapter ten, where you have to fetch an item where there's no air and it swarms of 3-4 different kinds of necromorphs.

And give us a sequel, with Isaac please.

What did you record this on? How did you set it up? I would very much like to record from my PS3 to my pc but am not certain what is the best method to do it.

I've seen recording devices but am skeptical. I would appreciate your advice.

The best method to do this is 1) Get a digital camera w/ cords that connect to your T.V and can record the T.V 2) Once done save it and then connect it to your comp and send the file to your comp 3) Edit as your will desires... I hope this helps you.....

that seems like it may lag a bit or won't be able to store a whole lot.... I have an HTPC al I would really need is a capture card sadly they cost like 200 bucks =(

I am playing on the PC version, so it is quite easy to simply run Fraps in the background and then render the video files in a program such as Sony Vegas to compress them and retain high quality. However, I am not sure what the best method is for recording footage from consoles. I am sure that Dyamahan's method works, but you could also probably use Google to find various other methods that may work for you.

why do you keep shooting at the body?

Some things in the game are not actually dead after they fall to the ground, so in short, trepidation and precaution are what cause me to shoot some of the "dead" bodies.

I better way to check without wating ammo is using your Kinesis. That's how I do it. Just a tip.

Thats the first thing i did when i saw a corpse on the ground in this game. When its down and you didn't kill it shoot it for good measure to be sure.

@LOLJesus1 Why do you have the lvl 5 suit at chapter lvl 3? When you beat the game and unlocks impossible you can continue with everything you had?

if you go throug that door u see the necromorph chasing the slug. funny as hell for me :P

everytime i get scared in dead space i automatically press the right stick because I got used to it by playing call of duty 4 where u need the right stick to use the knife. i mostly die because of that in impossible mode

I use Fraps to record all of my gaming videos and then I export the videos in 720p using Sony Vegas. However, to preserve the aspect ratio of my screen's resolution (1680X1050, 16:10), there are bars on the side of the video. In future videos I will change the resolution to an aspect ratio of 16:9 in game in order to actually make it full screen on the youtube video player. Thanks for the comment!

Yes it is, but I believe it is the same for the 360 in terms of level layout.
