Why is it that when a band has "Christian" anywhere in the description of their genre that it means they suck way harder than the non-christian members of the same scene? The point is, Christianity has no place in rock/metal. Christ/Christianity/God are all about creating a herd mentality wherein the individual is merely a "Child of God." Satan is about embracing your individuality and rejecting outside, dehumanizing forces. So "pop"=God; "rock"=Satan!! 666 the number of the beast!!!

Satanism in BM is ok, it started with bands like Venom and Bathory with a speech that did'nt really mean to convert people to satanism. Some bands from the 2nd wave may have twisted a bit the original message and have gone too far, but the global scene is really awesome.

Why is it that when a band has "Christian" anywhere in the description of their genre that it means they suck way harder than the non-christian members of the same scene? The point is, Christianity has no place in rock/metal. Christ/Christianity/God are all about creating a herd mentality wherein the individual is merely a "Child of God." Satan is about embracing your individuality and rejecting outside, dehumanizing forces. So "pop"=God; "rock"=Satan!! 666 the number of the beast!!!

I'm atheist and consider both Satan and God as fables (don't argument about the "666" in my pseudonym, I'd consider you don't know what metal folklore is...).
Satanism in BM is ok, it started with bands like Venom and Bathory with a speech that did'nt really mean to convert people to satanism. Some bands from the 2nd wave may have twisted a bit the original message and have gone too far, but the global scene is really awesome.
But honestly, "christian black metal" doesn't make any sense at all.

if combining "christian" and "black metal" buggs you, call it something else. something like "revival metal" to show that on an extremeness scale it comes after death metal and to refer to jesus christ.

If you study Satanism you will see that many Satanist don't believe in Satan as a deity like the one presented in the bible. Anyhow, I'm not a Christian myself, but this music is decent black metal in my opinion.

@lahmarko Where in the bible does it say satan is a fallen angel?...not disagreeing with you, but I would like to know. It is my understanding that satan simply means "the opposer." That being said, most Satanist do not worship a deity (being, entity, angel) known as Satan. Many of them see Satan as a force of nature.
