And something that does make no sence about this film is that when Sam's dad and his friend are walking by some shops in New York and have to jump into Burger King to escape the ice, would the wall of water from days ago flooded the inside of that Burger King??? Also the wall of water was like 5 stories high. So how are the traffic lights sticking out of the ice. I can't remember seeing a traffic light 5 stories high.

If this really happens and I survived by going into a building escaping the wall of water. I would wait till the water freezes over then I would to the nearest multiple story car parking area and get and start up a car or even a pick up truck then drive out of New York. That was all New York had to do when the water froze. Instead of walking. Also the bridges were never under water so there would have been cars on there to get as well
