@SmileyyWasHere Possibly. If it is super curly, use the natural curl of your hair to make multiple ringlets that lay in circles. Bobby pin those into place. Your hair will resemble the multi-flowered hydrangea!

@ekelinATpea yeah, it's actually easier to see in real life. I think it may have been mostly a factor of lighting. I hadn't been using the camera long (we had only had it a few months) and I didn't realize how different the actual brightness was. Turns out, the brightness was set really high on the LCD screen, making it look brighter on the camera than what was actually being recorded.

sorry, this video was made before I figured out the audio issue...as for your dilemma, try using a bobby pin only on a small "slice" of the twist, and use hair pins to secure further. You can also try pinning it as you would a french twist. You can see me demonstrate that technique in the elegant updo vid. Let me know if that doesn't help and I'll see what I can do about maybe doing a bobby pin tutorial.
