  • these tracks mannnnnnnnnnn , i usually listen to my music when i'm blunted , feeling the music better! if ya'll know what i mean THUMB ME UP! peace out hip hop junkies!

  • Support real artists like REKS, Freddie Gibbs, Action Bronson, and producers like statik selektah who are keeping the culture alive and bringing the soul back to the music.

  • Phife Dawg looks like a Black Bart Simpson!

  • I WAS BORN IN 1990 AND I ONLY ROCK OLD SCHOOL AND UNDERGROUND CAUSE I CANT STAND THIS NEW HIP POP SHIT

  • I love how low budget, yet awesome the "Buggin" part of this video is

  • I wish they still made music/videos like this mainstream. Just guys walking down the street, real artistry, no boodies, drugs, stripping, camera cuts every second...i liked the 90's

  • If you love real hip hop like this then you will love this artist from queens ny..on the come up..needs heavy support from you guys..please give this artist a chance like you gave A Tribe Called Quest a chance for their music to be heard..just search lou i made a choice Lou i made a choice Lou i made a choice Lou i made a choice Lou i made a choice Lou i made a choice Lou i made a choice Lou i made a choice Lou i made a choice Lou i made a choice Lou i made a choice

  • "...ayo but wait back it up..what easy back it up...please let the Abstract embellish on the cut"...C'Mon man! DOPE

  • that was an amazingly edited video for two amazing songs

  • I've always hated rap, Im more a deathmetal/prog/ska punk kinda guy, BUT THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME.

lol I like how there is a lamb of god ad on the side, that band is the shit also.

  • so good !

  • how can people be racist? i love these guys

  • Where is the jazz sample from? at 1:25

  • @egelskavaginur Lucky Thompson - Green Dolphin Street from the live album "Friday the 13th: Cook County Jail"

  • @voiceofthesoul0 Well not just Lucky Thompson, but he's in the quartet.

  • Yeh, but i'm sorry you haven't quite got the jazz.

  • 3:08 Gives me goosebumps every time.

  • SimmonsLand

  • Greetings from romanian .Thumb up

  • You gotta love ATCQ.So much soul in their rap. As tip says , the prose is profound.

  • @cripsgangpitic1 Gasesc si romani p-aici . Splendid :)

  • Oh God...first 3 albums classic.

  • . . . And 57 people don't have the jazz

  • 3:37 We need a whole song like this!

  • @dontnowhattobecalled That one's called 'Buggin' Out'.

  • 57 people are idiots...01/09/12

  • 57 people don't know what real Hip-Hop is.....

  • I was born in 97 and i love ATCQ but they were the 80's? I thought they were the 90's

  • @tkdskyride They started in '89 as they were a group from the Native Tongues along with Jungle Brothers, De La Soul, Black Sheep, Monie Love, and Queen Latifah. But they were a group from 1989 through 1998. Continue searching for good and real Hip Hop like this and avoid that garbage that you see on BET and MTV. Don't listen to your local Urban radio station.

  • Classic

  • -3

  • music made from the soul

  • This song is amazing

  • @TheEuben The Low End Theory is about as jazzy as it gets.

  • @GuitarExplicit

    besides Jazz, of course, haha

  • not trying to make another comment about the like/dislike ratio, but seriously...who could hate Tribe?

  • confused on which to start off with.the anthology or the best of album.ive been late being young at the time i never gone back to really listen to all their work....any suggestions

  • @negkreyol21 probably midnight marauders (my personal favorite). get comfortable with that, then listen to the low end theory, and eventually peoples instinctive travels. the anthology is basically a greatest hits

  • @negkreyol21 get a fat bag of weed and listen to them on youtube

  • This is when clothes started to get big.. lol

    Good music though

  • Thats true Hip Hop,,ATCQ.

  • @fkkkOFF wikipedia/wiki/Winans_family

  • YO

    CHECK THIS SOUND

  • the end of this video is toofuckincool.

  • Best rap ever.

  • fuckin great song to blaze to.... todays music is shit

  • Yall niggas born in 1984 and before are some lucky ass niggas. I was born in '95 and have to deal with todays crap-hop music like Wiz, Big Sean, Lil Wayne, waka flocka, lil b, ace hood, rick ross fat ass and that whole Young Money crew son. J cole is alright and Lupe Fiasco spits political shit, but most of the mainstream music is garbage. I hope later in the 2010s and/or hopefully at the beginning of the 2020s, real hip hop returns, cuz this 16 y.o. from Brooklyn can't take it anymore.

  • @SuperMe4lyfe Wow. You're right though.

  • @SuperMe4lyfe Yo this Reles from Hidden Traxx, I wanted to tell you about our video Play /Rewind if you get a chance check it out. We takin it back to pay homage to the very thing you speakin of REAL HIP HOP!!!

  • @SuperMe4lyfe Listen to like atmosphere, talib kweli, kid cudi, curren$y aint half bad either

  • @SuperMe4lyfe check out Kendrick Lamar. He's not for everyone but he's one of the few artists that does anything for me these days.

  • @SuperMe4lyfe kendrick lamar,tech nine,tyler the creator,earl,childish gambino,danny brown,hopsin,yelawolf,slaughter house, and many more are nice.

  • @amor49er1 Imma check them out. I kno yelawolf, slaughter house, tyler the creator and tech 9 already tho

  • @SuperMe4lyfe why do you think anyone gives a fuck how old you are? nobody is fucking impressed we are all listening to the same shit... so sick of hearing the same fucking comment... it should be

"yo im 17 years old and i DIDNT post about how old I am and dont think im fucking special!"

  • @rapidpossumsex I'm not tryna to be fuckin special you fucking idiot. I'm just stating tht most kids in my genereation listen to the mainstream garbage and can't distinct real hip hop to crap-hop on the radio. And I'm not impressing anyone, just stating the truth. You trolls obviously have no life to be complaining about anonymous people over the web, so imma let you talk to yourself from now on, alright homie

  • @SuperMe4lyfe u clearly are not keeping it real if youre braggin about how old u are on youtube

  • @SuperMe4lyfe 16 ? you good taste im an 86 baby man you know ? i think that game needs change man im hoping shit gets better..all them lame ass rappers are dead on you know ? im not really a fan of J Cole but shit anyone with grown up taste is cool with me

  • @SuperMe4lyfe Tell me about it. I was also born in '95. At least you live in NYC; where you can see more hip hop/rap shows and get to discover some new stuff. I like in Calgary, Alberta of all places lol.

  • @Alosho63592 Dont worry about living in Alberta. NYC maybe be the hip-hop capital but non-american rap will always be better than the mainstream crap here in the states the way hip-hop music is going. I may be able to see more shows and concerts here in new york, but Canadian rap is still a lot better. Just about every other country besides the US have dope artists tht would wash up lil wayne and Big sean waka flocka, etc.

  • The Sergent Pepper of hip hop. Sums it up perfectly

  • "Where I come from quality is job one and Tribe gets it done".......well said Tribe unfortunately the quality was lost in this modern generation

  • @ilooklikeppl its never to late to listen to good music!! shoot, im 13

  • REAL HIP-HOP IS NOT DEAD... I SUGGEST ALL OF YOU TYPE IN "HIDDEN TRAXX PLAY REWIND" FOR THAT CLASSIC HIP-HOP THAT WILL TAKE YOU DOWN MEMORY LANE!!!!!!!!!

  • ‎(RE-POST) WARNING!!!!!! ... Do not use the Christmas tree app. on Facebook. Please be advised it will crash your computer. Geek squad says its one of the WORST trojan-viruses there is and it is spreading quickly... Re-post and let your friends know!!!!!

  • @HotCet im 13 and i listen to ATCQ all day

  • the 57 ppl that disliked this video do not have any jazz cuz they hav no rythm.

also they disliked it from they mental institute

  • That's what i love with peterock, he seems to be the only living prod with premo, that remembers hip hop is the daughter of Jazz and funk!

  • Man, all the best rappers and the best HipHop albums were in the 90's... HipHop now is kinda shit, except some albums and rappers. (Watch The Throne and J. Cole)

  • .... Ejaculation.

  • Yo. Microphone check one two what is this?

  • Ha Ha, this is back in the day when people actually had to have rap skills to make it. I miss those days!

Now it's all about wanna-be rappers who cant freestyle worth a damn talking about money, bitches, cars and violent shit. Only 4 subjects. Sad

  • @steelfist48 I hear that...thank goodness for youtube, cause all my stuff is still on tape...lol.

  • This came out in '91, and it is still a cool song. I loved how cool it was, and the "Buggin; Out" portion at the end, Phife gets off there. Man, I love this video:)

  • @bootsterzs Are you fucking retarded?

"Don't listen if you don't like it"

How would people know they don't like it before they listen to the song? Fuck you're stupid.

  • HOW COULD U DISLIKE THIS VIDEO? 56 PEOPLE MUST BE LIL WAYNE LOVERS AND THATS WORD

  • An outro to die for

  • it seems like in those times they had it all right.the beats the styles everything.

  • damn, I was born in '92! i wish i grew up with these dudes! I would have loved to hear this jam on the radio instead of today's fake ass "hip hop"... its more like "hop pop" to me. all these dudes today just care about being famous and making themselves look like damn fools

  • @Dontmindvaughnn I was also born in 92 and i feel you bro. Jazz and old school hip hop is real deep and positive - unlike today's nonsense where majority of people have unfortunately built a tolerance for.

  • 4:29-5:06 <3

  • Best song from the group

  • at the end when phife is wearing that yellow sweater with the big eyes, he looks like a simpson's character! hahaha, ..love ATCQ

  • PETE ROCK the producer of this track should be Mentioned. but hes not, Lil wang is. WTF.

  • Why is that fucking Lil' Wayne mentioned in almost every ATCQ video on youtube?

Whats wrong with you? He's popular because you fucking mention him all the fucking time. Stop doing it! It's bullshit.

  • @dummychaos Interesting that a comment telling people to stop mentioning Lil' Wayne is top rated so everyone can read his name as the second comment on the video.

  • Old School

    Dope

  • The eyes! Haha!

  • massive

  • They Are Smooth:)

  • massive respect to pete rock for providin this definition of a smooth beat...

  • @FrenchHipHopHead Pete Rock? Isn't it Q-Tip & Ali on the production board?
