Justin Hawkins is singing for a new band called Hot Leg. His brother Dan has started a group called Stone Gods with Richie Edwards and Ed Graham, both former members of The Darkness.

Well, turned out Justin was addicted to cocaine and had to quit the band and go to rehab. They are continuing but... Well it won't be the same without Justin.

just read that the darkness will not be carrying on under the same name. dno what it will be but i have a feeling it will be more indie mainly because that was Dan's origional intention before joining the darkness. also the replacement for justin is an indie player. No, they are not gone! Justin did not play every instrument in The Darkness. You have to consider that every member brought somehting to the band. He will still continue his solo work and he said in a recent interview that he will get back with the band someday. So,all we can do now is keep our figers crossed,and support the rest of the band and Justin in whatever they decide to do. If you are a true darkling, you would do this. Gawd I miss him too. I now what you guys are feeling.
