@hellsforgames Really? Microsoft offer a mch better online gaming expieriance. yeah we pay for it but what you get for the £40 a year is way better than what PSN offers. Also PSN goes down regularry with hackers attempting to gain access to the sysytem which has happened twice now. And PS3 has the yellow light of death. So in reality each console has flaws and none is better than the other.

Best decision is to wait a couple of weeks or months and see if any other people get technical problems. Expect the new WiiU to have some technical problems since it is new to the market. @zoestitch The "Red Ring of Death" is actually the signal for Overheating, But since the Microsoft corporation wanted to save some money, they bought in a cheeper graphic card or something, Which couldn't handle the Xbox Heat, And so some xbox's get a more or less permanent ring of death, and needs to be repaired.

Mine, on the other hand, got out in cold weather. Do you think that would effect it in the same way?

@trixter2009 sometimes red ring of death appears when the console doesn't get enough voltage, mostly if its 220 v plug. where i live i would get red ring every five minutes because voltage in my house would fall down 180 v while adaptor requires 220v min. so i found my dad's voltage stabilizer made in 1950s and ran my xbox through it and it never showed the ring again. To avoid red ring call electrician and make sure electric current and voltage runs stable in ur house.
