bashuppark, what do you think of the yearly trips to Bris for the Sydney Footy Show? Does it cut the mustard? Or simply a Sydney show located for a week in Brisbane?
As for microastronomy, it was an original Footy Show, when the 9 Network started AFL and Rugby League footy shows, Brisbane was fortunate to have a local version. Despite good ratings, it was a matter of finances that Brisbane viewers now watch the Sydney version.
Incidentally, the Syd show rates better in Bris than Syd in 2010.
@MicMogul Especially, as the Sydney Footy Show is marking their 500th ep this week. I honestly think, if Nine were to lose RL, the NRL Footy Show wouldn't survive, unless a "Footy Show schism" occurred, with two trimmed down NRL products, split between Syd/Bris again.
