I prefer the old version better, mostly 'cause I like Coldplay's mellow stuff, that's the big thing about them that appeals to me, though most call it depressing, I call it realistic and emotional. A lot of life is not all fun and games, and Coldplay nails it with that idea, they appeal to the parts that a lot of us feel, the sad times. However, this version is sooo good. Again, Lost? (Acoustic Version) I prefer to Lost! (regular version) on album Viva la Vida. I love all the stuff though!!

i completely agree with you,the newer albums have a different feel compared to the first two(a rush of blood to the head,best one i think).like coldplay became a new band,they still keep some onf their style but just in small effects.
