  • thanks for your answer.now as we speak are u still takin anything or after u lowered it u just eat regular food and exercise?

  • out of curisity when u tried diet without drugs diiets what exactly did u ate (if u wanna say) ?

  • @kwstas67 I remember cutting anything that had cholesterol in it. I was pretty much on a vegetarian diet.

  • nice video man

  • I HAVE NEVER TAKEN A BLOOD STATIN DRUG......I HAVE HEARD HEHE, THEY CAN HURT YOUR LIVER AND COULD CAUSE OTHER PROBLEMS. I WOULD RECOMMEND A DOCTOR FORMULATED PRODUCT ALLED , OMEGA-Q-PLUS. I USE THIS PRODUCT AND IT HAS ALOT OF WHAT I NEED IN IT. AS I AM A TYPE 2 DIABETIC. AMONG OTHER THINGS, IT HAS FOLIC ACID-B-12-6 VITAMINS-CO-Q-10 OMEGA 3 FATTY ACIDS. IN MY OPINION, IT IS A GREAT PRODUCT FOR DIABETICS. IT ALSO COMES WITH MONEY-BACK OFFER.

  • TESTOSTERONE IS SUPPOSED TO BE MADE FROM CHOLESTEROL......YOU MIGHT WANNA HAVE YOUR DOCTOR CHECK YOUR "FREE" T-LEVEL AND TOTAL TESTOSTERONE.

  • Your body metabolises more cholestrol at night so its best to take any cholestrol lowering medicine at night. Good work by the way.

  • Thanks Drew82! You are reminding me that it's time to get tested again! I'll make an appointment and keep you posted.

  • @jsnyder2k What was your blood pressure at during those readings? Assuming you have a blood pressure monitor.

  • @dinotx69 I do not have a blood pressure monitor. My blood pressure is consistently 'normal', however.

  • @jsnyder2k What vitamin manufacturer you reccomend for your success? I have been looking at Swanson

vitamins. Also, are you taking fish oil along with red yeast rice?

  • @dinotx69 I've been using the Weider brand that you get at Costco.

  • I see your spreadsheet is dated in 2007 when RYR still contained a natural ingrediant, Lovastatin. Would RYR still have similar results today, since the feds have stripped it of the valuable CHL lowering molecules?

  • This is very helpful to me, I will start on it and in 3 months have another lipid profil! Thank you again!

  • You ARE taking drugs. Lipitor used red yest rice to extract the lovestetin, and later banned red yeast rice itself. The reason for your high cholesterol is not the amount of fat you are taking in. It's the amount of carbs! So try this next: get of the red yeast rice and get off carbs all together for a month or so. Only eating proteins and fats. You'll see that your cholesterol will drop like a brick. Later you can balance yourself out with your carbs again.

  • high cholesterol is not dangerous and never has been. What you heard over and over again is a flat out lie, a lie that makes 20 billion dollars a year for the medical and pharmaceutical industry.

    The Cholesterol Myths

If your doctor has put you on this abomination, or is trying to, I suggest you read this book, it could save your life.

  • you should take your red yeast at night !

the morning dose wont lower your cholesterol!

  • @asalman54 Thanks for the reply! Do you have a source or for this?

  • Thanks for your video. I have not started any medication of supplement as of today. Your level is within the range. Are you still taking RYR? My doctor wanted me to increase my exercise and change my diet for the next three months. I will have my blood test then. In the meantime, I am considering taking RYR. My question is once the level reaches within the normal range, do I have to take it continuously?

What is your RYR intake now? Once agian, thank you for your data. It is very helpful.

  • @bluesky7070 Yes, I take 2,400 mg of RYR daily. Two capsules int he morning and two at night. I'm consistently at about 180 total cholesterol. RYR does act like a statin, so if you stop using it, it will to back to the 'normal' range (which in my case is higher than my doc wants!). I would try the diet and exercise first and then to the RYR. If you do both, then you won't know which one made the improvement.

    Good Luck!!

    Jim

  • Ok then, I will try dieting and exercising for the next three months. After taking the Blood test, I will mention RYR to my doctor, if it is needed.

Thank you very much for your quick response.

180 is pretty good. Keep it up. I will post my progress. Bye now!

  • interesting, I take red yeast rice too because I have moderate cholesterol problems(215). I take 2,400mg a day. What brand do you take?

  • I like the Weider brand from Costco, but I also use the Sundown brand as well since they have it at my local Publix supermarket.

  • oh cool, im using the traditional sylvan products brand. The capsules are kinda big though. My doctor said my cholesterol wasn't high enough yet to be elligible for the statins hence the RYR was best option for me. It would be stupid to just wait till my cholesterol rises enough until Im eligible for a statin. May as well get it at its early stages.

  • As an alternitave to Statin drugs and their dangerous side effects , I use regular Niacin myself to manage my cholesterol and I've had good results. I was told by my Doctor ( who is more into herbal treatment ) that No Flus Niacin is garbage and many people are falling for it because they think they can get all the goodness of regular Niacin without the annoying flushing and itching that regular Niacin is famous for and it's just not so. She said the flush means it's working :)

  • the sound quality isnt that great however i enjoyed watching it.

  • Thanks! Sorry about the sound; I'll have to get a better microphone and re-record.
