love the orignal song (btw i never watched the crappy ass OC),love thrice, but I am not a huge fan of this cover... Its def a hard song to sing, and he does it justice still not a favorite since there about 500 covers of this song as it is.

For the guy to have the balls to even ATTEMPT this song with an acoustic guitar, and to pull it off pretty well, I think he deserves quite a bit of credit. Don't like this song? Whatever. Check out his voice in For Miles off Thrice's Vheissu album. Then tell me he's a bad singer.

Totally agree. It takes a great deal of talent to translate this song from Imogen's quirky effects-laden version to a rockin' acoustic guitar version while still perserving the essense and tone of the original.

Why would he embarrass you? Dustin Kensrue has a very unique voice and it wouldn't be a cover if he sounded exactly like Imogen Heap would it? Also, he's a dude, Imogen Heap is a girl . He did a good job. If you listened to anything from Thrice, then you would know that he is very talented.

Wow, I've been reading some of these comments and after listening I think it was actually pretty darn good. I think when you talk about stylistically changing the song so drastically from the original, it's almost unfair to really compare. I've seen tons of people absolutely murder this song, maybe even myself included. (Check out my page.) But he did nothing of the sort. I really like his interpretation actually. Nice job.
