@nfsdre94 i've have people raise their eyebrows at me when i say i chose traktor over serato. but hands down without argument traktor has the best and no one can argue, the best control vinyl system. to compare with photos, serato's control vinyls are like 2 mega pixel, where as traktors are at 8 megapixel.

see i use the control vinyls im old school, and im much happier with traktor, especially when it comes to scratching.

@dvaifilmsdotcom Im a vinyl head also, I tried traktor once or twice but i just couldn't stand not having dj tools to work with, but traktor has a much better multi deck layout, and not to mention you can get really creative with it, but it all comes down to what your most comfortable with and what you perform better with.

@DJSexLeopard I agree that direct drive is preferable BUT if you learn how to do this stuff well on a belt drive (which will be MUCH harder because of the slower motor response) then you will learn to have a very light and precise touch which will make things easier when you get to a direct drive.

The big difference in practice is that with a belt drive when you let go there will be a short lag before it gets back to full speed while direct drive is much faster.

Absolutely EPIC. PERIOD! One big question: Are you using one overall track that has segments from many songs and cue jumping between different segments? I.E. are you using a custom made track?

I have an NS7 with Itch, so not familiar with Traktor. Would this routine be possible without Traktor?

@DJzanNAZ It's not a custom made track, he's using cue-points on different tracks. You could achieve something similar with itch although Shiftee is using Traktor AND Maschine as a MIDI Controller. The difference is that because Itch is not a turntable system it would be a bit different trying to do 'turntablist' performance on it. Certainly you could come up with some kind of interesting routine on it though that utilizes the NS7's unique interface.

@theramirez72 hmmm. thing is that startin´ with a bad TT will force you to spend money that´d be better used on a good TT like the reloop rp-6000 which is 370€ atm, guess it´ll actually be the same in $.

if you need a cheap, take a reloop. but take a directly driven. reloop is the best TT brand to go for the budget dj imo. and no, i got none, just have been playin on an rp-6000 and it whipes the floor with the 1210´s.
