  • what's better to buy ps3 3d display or a 32 inch samsung? it'll be used for gaming and movies

  • @cosmicgate07 I say go with the 32in samsung. Bigger screen and 3D is a gimmick. Save ur money.

  • what's a good tv for gaming

  • @cosmicgate07 samsung

  • @ocdank1503 thanks for the asnwer

  • @cosmicgate07 sony and lg because of the response time this tv has a 2.4 ms probably the best on any tv

  • @15Aalexis1995 thanks dud I bought the lgips monitor and it's good

  • how many tvs do u hav ? can u giv me 1 ?

  • @shockerx1216 My parents have their own TV and I have my own in my bedroom :D

  • I SEE THIS TV FROM 350dollars in my country i used to play crysis2 would be lag conecting to the tv (lag) why have that problem?

  • kinda cool. does it suffer from the lag? have u played some football game in it? how's it looking like? :)

  • @Jayto91 I don't have this TV anymore, so I can't help you out, sorry. It had little lag when I used to have it.

  • @NewPSCity anyway thanx for your answer:))

  • Is it big? I'm trying to get one of these but I want to be not too big and not too small

  • @calloftreyarch Nah its not that big. Its a perfect size.

  • i have the same tv, xbox, controller and halo reach XD

  • @RagingBlast2Fan lol kool.

  • Is The Blue Cord In The Back Of The T.V An HDMI Cable ??

  • @TheKrazymonkey360 Yes it is :) why u ask? *in a friendly way*

  • quality sucks for 2 reasons:

    1. your camera sucks

    2. try not to play halo it sucks try a blu ray movie instead

  • Should've probably played an HD game...

  • Any gaming lag on PS3?

  • @QUIKKSTAR When I had this TV is was laggy, but its a nice looking TV.

  • @NewPSCity maybe the lag was due to the cranked up 120Hz because 60Hz on on 40 inches and under is supposed to be more than enough, experts say...

  • @QUIKKSTAR Nah I never used the 120hz feature, it was horrible for gaming and movies. I only enjoyed it when watching sports.

  • @NewPSCity Well damn, thats good the 120hz can be turned on and off. How is watching sports in the 60hz? I'm considering this LED but the 42"

  • @QUIKKSTAR I had mine since January. No lag what so ever with PS3 playing games or watching movies.

  • @chaseman94 You got the 60hz or 120hz model?

  • @QUIKKSTAR 120hz.

  • @chaseman94 So you play PS3 with the 120hz turned on or up?

  • @QUIKKSTAR Using the 120hz feature adds lag and artifacts and I did experience that and from what I have read as well.

  • @NewPSCity Makes since because all games are displayed at 60 fps, so thats perfect on 60hz, and too damn extra on 120hz.

So for you, the 120hz is only used on blu-ray movies (high action)? I so want this Tv, but in 42"

  • @QUIKKSTAR I would use 120hz for fast action scenes or sports on TV, but it will make the movie look like an opera play.

  • @NewPSCity Cool. So there is a feature that lets you turn off the 120hz back to 60hz?

  • @QUIKKSTAR Yes, when I had this TV i turned off the 120hz feature and let it play on its own, 60hz.

  • @QUIKKSTAR Dunno, i thought 32 inches wasn't enough for me but when i bought my tv it was more than enough for me, so don't just waste money, i did and i regret it.

  • @RagingBlast2Fan I got the 42" for my big bedroom, and I admit that maybe the 37" may have been a more appropriate size because the 42" is pretty big and has great width to be a living room tv.

  • @QUIKKSTAR I set it to Game when I press the AV Mode button on the remote. That's what works for me.

  • Does this tv plays .mp4 and .mkv files for full hd movies?

  • @l33tmonch MP4 yes. MKV no. You have to convert those to AVI , MP4, or WMV.

  • My honest opinion? All I see is someone using a shitty way of recording(with probably a SHITTY video recorder) resolution of a TV and then posting it on Youtube. Honestly if you're gonna review something review it right, unless your gonna review the screen of a phone which is a totally different topic since if you fit THIS much (talking about the TV) into 4 or 5 Inches of screen your gonna pretty much have THE best screen resolution on a phone which can STILL be viewed using a SHITTY webcam...

  • @JRDShamrock no one is reviewing here dude, i used a digital camera to record not a camcorder or a HD phone. Plus I just wanted to record it so people can see how it looks like.

  • @NewPSCity My...then What do you call describing the job on the video? Previewing it? plus you claim in the description below the video that the game supposedly loses on color....Oh not to mention that on your site you say you do unboxing,etc... If this ISNT a review then I have no idea what it is... and whatever you tried to prove you still failed at it, I cant admire what your TV does if you record it and post it on youtube? you know why? Quality... you wanted to record how it looks? use Fraps

  • @JRDShamrock LOL no one is proving anything dude, i just mentioned that because thats what i saw and to warn people its not IPS panel. Isn't fraps for recording gameplay dude, i did not want to record gameplay during the time i made this video. I had no HD electronics back then, now I do, so its a little to late to re-record for your needs. No one failed at anything here, so whatever you are trying to do is not working ;)

  • I just got the led tv LG le5300 but i`ve read a product reviews that the led on the side only goes on if much sunlight comes on the tv.

    Can anyone explain this?

  • @martijnvkk I guess they mean the ambient light sensor, when exposed to a lot of light makes the screen turn up its brightness to increase picture quality in a room with a lot of light. I guess :)

  • @NewPSCity thx

  • @NewPSCity but i mean the light on the right side and the left side

  • hello newpscity. Does your tv lag when it comes to games because your tv doesn't have the ips panel? So if i have this tv with an ips panel, the game lag will be gone?

  • @playcold32 i don't have this TV anymore? i have a panasonic now.

  • Hello everyone...

I bought this TV a few weeks ago.. I had mayor "INPUT-LAG"... switched my xbox resolution to 720... problem solved....

Then i put in a game called TOPSPIN2...

My xbox couldn't play the game unless my xbox-settings were on PAL-60

Since my xbox was hooked up trough HDMI, the option wasn't there.

I connected the xbox with the SCART, and changed pal settings to PAL-60

Now i play all my games on 1020p without any lag...

So input lag = 50Hz vs 60Hz conflixt??

    longversio=@xbox.com

  • i was wondering if i can use my external hdd n play my mkv files (hd movies)?

  • Thanks for sharing this video and taking the time to show some gameplay as well as critical viewing angles. I have the 26" little brother of this LG model, and overall am pretty happy with it as a PS3 display.

One thing I've noticed with user reviews of this display is the observation that LG ships some of them with TN panels and others with IPS. Do you have any further observations on this unit?

  • @calstretch yeah from what I have read the IPS panels include the letter W on their serial numbers.

  • @NewPSCity - it's sad any company would blindly replace one panel type for another, especially if it's a lower quality type. I saw a deal for this set ($625) but the demo was clearly a TN panel (look at it from an angle (110 degrees) and, for example, blue turns to purple.) No wonder it's a 'deal'. But the 'W' and 'D' letter in the model number does confirm the IPS/TN panel type respectively.

  • Just got an LG 42 inch trumotion..have bluray setting on low and i have my gaming at medium but im gonna change it to low...i did not know yo good use trumotion on ps3 i like it but like i said im gonna reduce it to low settings

  • Hey I just got this same model tv and my input lag was terrible. I have put my xbox settings on 720p from the dashboard, and i put trumotion off, but i still have a bit of lag. Should i deal with this or is there more to fix for input lag? Your game looks pretty responsive so any advice would be appreciated thanks.

  • @Dempsta7892 yeah input lag wasn't that great on this TV, you should probably try another TV like a panasonic or sharp, those are for gaming.

  • @NewPSCity yea maybe. Being desperate i took my xbox settings down to 480p and it seemed to work well, but who knows ill try it tomorrow. It sucks cuz it was on sale. Shows i shoulda done my research, thanks for the help

  • @NewPSCity the tLG 32LE5900 or 7900 is better, i think theres a game mode on them. lags about 38 ms you dont notice it. or go for the panasonic viera new line led tv,s . and of cause netcast is handy .

  • @Dempsta7892 i was thinkin of getting this same led....now about the lag,lg claims they have a 3ms response time ...which is very good..but ur still getting lag? thats kinda odd...but im looking into this right after i write this

  • @xxCPS3xx go for the newer models Le5900 or 7900 the 5300 is obsolete now. also newer models had netcast.

  • have you connected and setup this tv with 120 Hz at a pc?

  • im going to get one from swagbucks

  • The code on my package is BEUWLJP

  • I get the LG 32LE5310 , does anyone knows the differences ?

The only thing that i can say because of my subjective observation is that the ...5310 has IPS panel. I can't see any deficiency (contrast , coulors, brightness) , if i change the positions

  • so....? does this double the frame rate? or atleast make it look as if,it has more ''smooth-ness''

  • i had some real trouble with the le4500 50hz 42inch tv on xbox, gta 4 was fuzzy as shit and the details loaded really slowly abit like lag, anyway i sent it back and now im looking at this tv, did anyone have any problems here with gaming?

  • What is the IPS panel ? Can anyone explain and does the panasonic have a better view angle ?

    Thanks

  • @erealpe13 IPS panels basically just improve viewing angles and have lower lag. and yes panasonics have IPS panels.

  • @NewPSCity No IPS have better colours and blacks, TN panels have fewer colours but lower lag and response time...

TN panel for gaming is the best.

  • please help me.... my 32le5300.. dont read .mp4 files most of my hd movies are .mp4... pls help thanks....

  • awesome tv dumb game

  • i need help with this tv i have the 42in version is the game mode the best to play on when playin games & how do u turn on the tru motion on?

  • @REALPS3KING Yes Game Mode is the best option to play video games on. I would not recommend using the tru motion on because it makes the game have more lag to it. But if you do decide to turn it on, leave it at Low. Just go to settings and u will find it there, hope this helps.

  • @NewPSCity ok thanks 4 help :)

  • I´ve been using my LG 32LE5300 for a few weeks now and i must say i´m very happy with this LG 32LE5300 HDTV. It´s absolutely fantastic. I don´t mind that mine is not an IPS panel. The 32LE5300 already has a 178 degree wide viewing angle and i don´t know if an IPS panel would make any difference in the viewing angle. I have a video in my channel where you can see my home theatre-gaming setup which contains the LG 32LE5300 a PS3 SLIM 120GB and a PS3 Soundbar surround system.

  • @GRiZLOC The IPS panel does make a difference, my TV looks just like your from viewing it from an angle, the colors wash out, that was the main reason I returned my LG, it was the best TV I have ever bought for myself with my own money, it was thin, sexy looking and all, but the viewing angles was the worse I have ever seen, even worse then my parents Sony HDTV in the living room. So i got a panasonic with IPS panel, good purchase but not better then the LG.

  • @NewPSCity So you regret it?

  • @NewPSCity I have the non LED Version. I think it has an A MVA panel made by AUO. I hate it cause the blacks smear so bad.

  • @OryKid you should return it. and get a TV with IPS Panel.

  • @NewPSCity HAHA, how funny that we had this conversation a month ago, and now your panasonic video convinced me to order one yesterday... and I never realized I had talked to you before until I saw this video again on your channel!

  • @OryKid LOL yeah, make sure your panasonic 22inch is IPS.

  • @NewPSCity Its actually a TN panel, and I am perfectly fine with it. TN panels have faster response times and less input lag than IPS even though IPS has much better color and viewing angles. I understand all this. Still, the 22 inch is part of the X2 series like yours and it is rated to have very good picture quality, even the best, for a TV of its size. And its panasonic :)

I would get and IPS if I had enough money though.

  • @OryKid

    SHUT THE FUCK UP STUPID!!!

NO ONE GIVES A SHIT ABOUT YOUR FUCKING TV....THIS VIDEO IS FOR THE LG LED TV....FUCKING ASSHOLE.

  • @GRiZLOC Man, when i watch a movie, or tv, or play a game or something i sit in front of the screen, not at the sides. I really don't care much for viewing angles. So far as i'm concerned, there aren't any advantages to an IPS panel.

  • @GRiZLOC the 178 degree viewing angle is not IPS, its false advertising used by LG, panasonic do it with there new 26" 2010 LCD's but there 2009 models were IPS all the brands are moving to cheaper TN panels now, samsung do it as well. the 178 degree spec is just actually a TN panel. once you have the tv home, get a magnifying glass and check the pixels, If the pixels are chevron shaped ">" then you have an IPS panel.

    rectangular pixels means TN.

  • @GRiZLOC i just hooked mine up and dvd's dont look jitttery. and my FIFA soccer game lags like mad! are there any Calibration settings you would recommend. i wanna really make sure before i send it back! thanks for any help!

  • @porterfield10 sorry. dvd's do look jittery. i'm going to give it a few more days and tinker with it but i'm about ready to return this shit!

  • im thinkin bout gettin this tv and was wondering would this be a good buy for $500?

im plannin on using it for ps3 and computer monitor

how much of a difference does the ips panel make in terms of lag and gaming

  • @PoppinEZ This TV is pretty good, but what from I have read, having the IPS version is better then having the non IPS version. IPS will reduce some lag in gaming. But one down side of IPS panels is the glowing effect it has when u view it at extreme angles.

  • ok so i just ordered the 32 inch from amazon. i'm pretty much just a casual guy that plays fifa on my ps3 and i like my basketball in HD, but honestly how dissapointed will i be if its not IPS? did i wast 500 bucks on this tv if it isnt IPS? any input would be great thanks!

  • @porterfield10 Not really, IPS does improve viewing angles and vivid colors, plus less lag and a lower response time. If u do not care about viewing angles then it will be just fine. Or you can return it and get the LG 5400 instead, higher chance in getting a IPS panel.

  • Can I ask you something about this TV? If I buy this one, I am planning to use the RF antenna to watch some programs intead of Verizon, Comcast, so on. My question is that can I use the RF antenna directly? Thank you for your answering

  • @Space2080 do u mean a regular antenna with a coax connection? then yes you can connect an antenna to the LG.

  • @NewPSCity Yes, I mean a regular antenna. Thank you for your answer. I will order now~^^ Happy Holiday!!

  • @Space2080 Sure, happy holidays to you too and merry christmas :)

  • do you see a delay on the tv when you do somehting on your controller does it have a small delay?

  • @XC4RRiED

When i used to have this tv i noticed none to a tiny tiny bit.

  • @NewPSCity yeah well i went ahead and bout one at first i was using a cheap hdmi cable and it had some lag now i bought a monster cable that normally cost 150 at best buy but i get em cheaper off ebay. anyway it has no lag with that cable.

  • I have a few questions:

    1. Is this TV Anygood?

2.Is This TV In The Video, A 32inch TV Or Bigger?

    3.And Whats An IPS Panel

I'm Thinking About Buying One So Please Let Me Know

  • @joeziko

    1. Yes the TV you see in the video that i i used to own is good.

    2. Its a 32 inch 1080p.

    3. An IPS panel is where you can see the TV from any angle without any colors washing out. They are better for gaming, they reduce lag from what i have read.

  • @NewPSCity how much did u pay for this?

  • @lXxMasterShakexXl man i forget, i think i payed around 680 bucks. But i later found out newegg had it for $599.

  • @kueef oh okay :)

  • it have 120 hz ?? on Lg site it have 100 xd

  • @MarioWTFHK this LG is 120hz, the 100hz might be a European model.

  • @kueef I do :) i just do not feel like tilting my TV, so having a IPS panel is great, the colors do not wash out from an angle.

  • what settings do u use? cause im going crazy trying to get the true motion feature on. reply asap

  • @felito1992 i recommend only using the 120hz on movies and for sports on TV. for games it increases the input lag. I remember using 120hz on gaming it was okay but i felt like a lag to it. Try using the wizard mode that comes with the TV to calibrate your TV. Black level needs to look black but not to black or else you wash out the details. What are your current settings? Send me a PM with ur settings with the name as well, like black, sharpness etc :)

  • Whats an IPS Panel?

  • @1996Warren not really sure but i think that helps the picture color and images look basically the same when seeing it from a differant angle.

  • I bought my 32LE5300 from Argos and luckily got an IPS panel with it xD.The Picture quality is outstanding imo from all angles x)

  • @xK4GE great, enjoy your TV dude :)

  • Comment removed

  • Fail reach sucks balls. Black ops. All the way.

  • i got the television and how can i exactly see if its an IPS or not???

  • @WesTureQq from what i have read, if the bar code has a "W" in it rather than a "D" then you have the IPS.

  • @porterfield10

i dont think i have ips.. when i change the car view in gran turismo 5 the whole screen becomes dark and gets back to normal in a sec

  • I got it from amazon, and it was NOT the IPS panel. The viewing angles look very much like what is displayed in this video. You can't even find this TV in stores locally anymore. They have to special order it. I will likely return it.

  • @kirstpo That sucks, you should return it and get the LG LE5400, higher chance of getting the IPS panel.

  • Well people i just found out that my version of the 32LE5300 TV is NOT an IPS panel. Check this out below:

On the box and the TV a serial is printed. The above line says: LG 42LE5300 - XXXXXX. The last part is the interesting bit. Look at the lines and make sure it's similar to the IPS code noted below:

    ZA-BEUWLJG (IPS)

    ZA-BEUDLJP (OTHER)

So if you have a W inside the product code it's an IPS panel all other panels have a D inside the product code.

  • @GRiZLOC you should return it and get the LG LE5400, those come with IPS panels.

  • i just ordered a lg 42 le5300.. is it worth it?

  • @WesTureQq yes, just make sure its an IPS Panel TV, check the serial code on your box and make sure it has a W in the code. tell me when u get your TV. Where did u get it from, if u don't mid me asking.? :)

  • @NewPSCity

i live in the netherlands and i also bought it in the netherlands lol.. but what exactly is an IPS Panel? could you tell me

  • @WesTureQq generally considered the best overall LCD technology for image quality, color accuracy and viewing angles, but this comes at a price. They are well suited for graphics design and other applications which require accurate and consistent color reproduction.

  • I freaking love my LG 32LE5300. It's the best quality and priced 100Hz LED Full HD HDTV. I mainly use it for gaming and watching movies. I connected a Playstation 3 Slim 120GB with of course an HDMI cable. The video quality is absolutely fantastic.

I highly recommend the LG 32LE5300 to anyone.

  • I don't think it's an ips version if you're buying it through amazon. I checked to see if there was a W in the serial number but there wasn't. This tv is like something u would use in your room not ur living room. So I wouldn't complain about viewing angles if you were playing games. I personally like to play closer to the tv to get the best views of the tv. So i recommend buying this tv from amazon for those who want it for the best price.

  • Someone could tell me if amazon is selling those ips panel?

  • @maxmal23 you need to be lucky to get an IPS Panel for the LG LE5300 panel lottery, i would recommend getting the LG LE5400 you have a better chance in getting a IPS panel.

  • @NewPSCity Oh ok thanks for the reply!

    All LG 32LE5400

    have IPS panel?

  • Look this video: /watch?v=9bSAlhoZL3w

the LG32LE5400 have IPS panel and better angles view?

  • @maxmal23 I can't really tell, i hope he makes another video talking about the viewing angles.

  • why did u return it i might get this

  • @xNnickK because it had a VA Panel and the viewing angles were terrible. if it had an IPS panel i would have kept it.

  • i got this tv except min is hanging on the wall with Black ops in the xbxox :)

  • @HDFuZe1997 Kool, so are you liking the LG?

  • i heard there is an ips version of this tv. how would you know that it has an ips screen? I'm looking at purchasing this through amazon.

  • @kirstpo The serial code on the box needs to have a W in the code and this will tell you if u have a IPS panel set or not. My LG did not have a W in the serial code and plus i could tell it was not IPS so i returned it and got a panasonic with IPS.

  • Thats cool how much did you get it for? I just bought mine for 499 at amazon. Can't wait to get it!!!

  • @jackmihaf i got it for $600 but i returned it after a week.

  • @jackmihaf im thinkin about getting it too. im scared to order something like that off amazon though with shipping.i might just get it at best buy though. its 50 bucks more but i can pick it up myself. let me know how it is when you get it.

  • its actually a great tv, you're just looking for flaws to point out instead of looking at how great it is

  • @forum87eightyseven dont get me wrong, the TV is great but the viewing angles were terrible, i returned it and got a panasonic with IPS.

  • have you noticed any clouding/backlight bleeding when the screen is entire black on the le5300?

  • @AJMvledlog No not really, the only thing was that the black washed out badly because it was a VA Panel.

  • @HellerIsDaMan wow ps3 fanboy bring shit into a video

ps3 has nothing more than a xbox 360

  • @Shitsocash trust me the viewing angles are really bad even if i move slightly to any side the colors wash out. i recommend finding the IPS version of this TV.

  • should samsung lcd 55 inch 120hz run good with games like halo reach or mw2?

  • @Unknown1196 i hear bad things about 120hz on tv's but i know some tvs you can lower the refresh rate

  • I bought this tv. For the life of me I could not find one that had an IPS panel, so I bought one without it. The color depth gets worse when you view from an angle but still not so bad that you can't watch the tv. I have it at the end of my bed so I always look from dead ahead anyway. There's a way to tell whether or not the tv has an IPS panel. If you look at the box, there's a sticker on it. If the code ZA-BEUDLJP on it, it's not IPS. If it has the code ZA-BEUWLJG on it, it has an IPS panel.

  • I want one!

  • Ok Beside Halo. Did you play any Modern Warfare 2 or any fast shooting game on this TV ? How is the input lag ? Did you notice any laggyness or hick up when you aim /shooting/ turning etc in First person shooter games ? I was planning to buy this LG TV for PS3 games and I worry about input lag. Also comparong to the 32x2 Panasonic. How would you rate the input lag between the two ? Which TV has less input lag ? Thanks

  • @Kenny1984 yes i did try it on MW2, the input lag was very minimal IMO. i did not notice any lagginess, but with the 120hz on MW2 looked horrible, increased lag and some wired effect to it, this was on the highest 120hz mode. on low its okay. I think my panasonic has less lag then the LG.

  • @NewPSCity Thanks for the reply. So in your opinion the Panasonic X2 is a better buy ? The lag in the Panasonic is much lower ?

  • @Kenny1984 from i could tell yes. But the Picture Quality looks a little better on the LG.

  • Thanks for this video! I just bought the 550 (Guaranteed to have an IPS panel) ... How bad are the delays when gaming? Any at all?

How jaggy does halo look? I'm actually using the same damn reach special edition 360.. this is exactly how my setup would look lol.

  • @ManBrow90

There was some minimal input lag from what i could tell. Halo looked okay, i just needed to turn down the sharpness. But i returned my LG due to bad viewing angles on my set. I purchased a new TV look at my channel.

  • @NewPSCity This only has one AV output?

  • I see all the sockets are in the back. I was planning on buying this tv and mounting it flat against the wall. Would my HDMI cable and computer monitor cable still fit? And what exactly s an IPS panel? Thanks, enjoy your gorgeous tv.

  • @LBG070 i guess, are u buying a wall mount, if yes, then leave some space behind the TV to plug in the cables, An IPS Panel TV is when the picture quality from the sides does not wash out like many HDTVs. Check out my new panasonic video and check out the viewing angles and compare it to this LG.

  • @NewPSCity I thoguth a wall mount could only be mounted flat against the wall with the tv flat against the mount. How do you leave space between the wall and the tv? Are those mounts adjustable? And I'm only going to be looking at the tv from straight ahead, seeing as it will be mounted in front of my bed. Do you still reccommend I buy one with an IPS panel?

  • The blacks are dark gray as the LCD or are black indeed? Because I have understood that this panel is EDGE LED ... is the quality of image equal to that of a LCD or better? recommend me to play and watch movies? .... thanks again...

  • @MrJavisho From my experience i would say the blacks are a tiny bit better. The image quality is good better then or equal to an LCD. I would recommend this TV for gaming and watching blu-rays. Remember to get one with a IPS Panel. This TV in my video did not have one, so i returned it after a week of playing around with it. Anymore questions feel free to ask....
