My brother is 10 years old and loves watching good eats, so i went to buy some groceries with him and watched him cook like 12 dishes perfectly, and my parents were kind of in shock when they came home to see a 10 year old cook French cuisine.
Tender is the Loin was two episodes in the 9th season dedicated to beef tenderloin. This is a play on that title, referring to the use of pork instead of beef. :)
I just made some pork tenderloin for dinner last night, and opted to use a brine. I think all pork can benefit from it. I generally use 1 qt water, .25 c. salt, 2 T. brown sugar, and a few grinds of black pepper. 30 minutes to an hour in there, followed by a quick brushing with a mixture of mustard and curry powder. Works very well.
"Local Fireman Supply Store" I laugh everytime he says that like it's a common thing. Is it in the states? I wish we had one, I'd go hang out and chat up the firemen and alton browns ;)
I noticed it, but I've worked my way through much worse before, this is at least acceptable. I forget which one, but one of the GE episodes (maybe Churn Baby Churn) on here is like a second and a half off.
Sorry, this isn't the 3rd episode, according the Wikipedia the 3rd episode is "American Classics IV: Spaghetti With Meat Sauce," aired May 18, 2009. Thanks for uploading this one though :D I hope you can find the spaghetti one too I'm looking forward to that one. Again sorry, I don't mean to be such a nit picker.
I know, I couldnt resist well its not everyday you get to make the first comment on a Good Eats episode! They are just so very popular and so many people are looking for the episodes to be uploaded.
On the Tenderloin point, I cant see it replacing chicken as AB suggests but it is one of the best pork primal cuts - so its well worthy of its own GE episode. I think chicken will rule the roost (pardon the pun) in terms of popularity for some time to come!
Say hi to Wilbur. *rips open pig* My childhood ruined.

According to another user they aired them out of order like they did the 9th or 10th season.

If you go by production numbers this is the first episode, then it goes crusteation nation, then tamales, then Pasta, and finally Parsnips.

Either way is fine. Myself I have my playlist with the way they were aired.
