  • Then why are you celebrating "christmas" or JUL(yule) as it is known in Scandinavia where it originated from???

  • Somebody should remind this stupid bitch that Christianity is BASED on a human sacrifice. The Bible says that Jesus was sacrificed for the world's sin.

  • Does the word "Easter" mean anything to this woman?

  • LOL all of these holidays that are suppose to be"chirstian" are really based off of pagan beliefs....and Halloween roots are not even Satanic lol they came from the Celtics In Ireland :) Fucking Douche lol

  • Easter is a pagan holiday: Eggs (fertility) and bunnies (reproduction); Observed on a day determined by the first Sunday after the first full moon after the Spring Equinox. Can you get more pagan than that?

  • @bjjolley Christmas. (most of it anyways)

  • @Kirakiraseviltwin - You mean the re-birth of the Sun god right after the winter solstice? The Sun "stops" its southward journey for about three days and "rises" again northward, ensuring life to come in the Spring. Hardly pagan at all!

  • @bjjolley It may be, but Christianity has given it its full meaning, take the cross as another example: it was a common way to execute people by the romans, but it has become the Symbol of faith for humanity!!

  • @RonaldR2007 - That's exactly what we're saying, here. The stories were built on existing phenomena and symbols. The stories were constructed, the symbols conscripted and the mythology generated from ALREADY EXISTING ideas.

What's more likely? God arranged everything (including influencing the Pagans) to worship astronomical events that would eventually coincide with the arrival and departure of his son, or that humans built stories from familiar ideas in their culture?

  • It's too funny not to laugh. Then comes the part when you want to cry.

  • Over here in Britain we had a deputy PM called John Prescott who couldn't string a sentence together, a complete buffoon. Its done as a gag, to wind everyone up.

  • she's like a train wreck.... you know you should just keep going, but youre stuck staring and you cant look away.

  • How did this dumb broad get into the public eye? And why do we all find the need to listen to her? She is an idiot, yet everyone hangs on every word she says, (kind of like Palin). I don't understand it, and I'm just as guilty, but I sure wish we would stop giving these idiots the satisfaction.

  • How does she go from being Halloween is Satanic to dressing up like a ladybug? Dumb AND a hypocrite.

  • @SlouchingPoet Did she dress up asa ladybug for Halloween? If she did then I can reason that your point holds validity.

  • @lexaeus88

Going by that Gawker story she did.

  • She means the origin of Halloween.

  • @lexaeus88 - Why would you defend such a delusional statement?

"While people are going around getting free candy, other people are falling victims to human sacrifices... That's the reality of what's going on ON HALLOWEEN."

Doesn't get more present tense than that, you goon.

  • @bjjolley I can understand your shock and it's reasonable for you to respond in such a fashion. However, I can't bring myself to think that Christine actually meant that trick-or-treaters are currently falling victim to human sacrifices. No, I don't think she'd be foolish enogh to say that. On the contrary, I think she meant it in a different way but failed to make impact when saying it; meaning she meant one thing but gaffed verbally when trying to get her point across. What are your thoughts?

  • @lexaeus88 - In order to accept what you're saying, I have to reject what she said. Why should I trust you over her when it comes to HER opinions?

In what sense is it "reality" that there are human sacrifices "on Halloween?" You don't have to "think" she's foolish enough to say it. She said it in the video!

  • @lexaeus88 What do you think she meant?

  • Such a busy day today, what with all my human sacrifices to perform. It'll take all week to get the blood stains out of the altar stone!

  • Yes, so is Christmas. Read a book, Christine.

  • @trojoe And easter.

  • What a bizarre world of the imagination Christine O'Donnell lives in. Human sacrifices... mutant mice with fully functional human brains, etc.

  • I wonder then - does Christine O'Donnell support putting up a tree for Christmas? I mean, if she does, she's promoting a pagan ritual right (or was it druid - I can never remember)?

If you think this woman is a genius, I'm guessing you also think the words written on signs in the Hundred Acre Woods are spelled correctly as well... and you might believe that's a real place, I don't know.

  • Halloween is not a satanic holiday AND a pagan holiday. There is a big difference the two. Satanists believe in Satan. Pagaist worship nature. If Satan = nature then we are all in big trouble.

  • @chrisklecker Satanists do not believe in Satan, they just adopted the name. Satanists do not believe in gods, devils, angels or any other supernatural entities. All the references to supernatural beliefs and activities by Satanists are stories conjured up in the minds of Christians in an attempt to make people go to church out of fear. Unfortunately, this approach often works on those who are too lazy to pick up a book and learn things for themselves.

  • @chrisklecker Paganist = belief other than the Christian God.

  • I'll bet ya, she wins

  • What? Human sacrifices? No one told me.

  • OMG WTF? Please find her a padded cell STAT!

  • ASS HAT ASS HAT ASS HAT ASS HAT ASS HAT ASS HAT ASS HAT ASS HAT ASS HAT ASS HAT

  • Saw this last night on his show and was in total disbelief. This is why religion is bad.
