  • that was so kool looking i love the mermaid figurs

  • It's gorgeous...the water is like looking through a piece of emerald... No wonder the name... and teh statue, it's so beautiful, i've always liked underwater statues, they areso mystical and romantic and beautiful, like the ruins of an ancient civilization...

  • It's so clear!

  • Beauty!...got to get over there...Thanks for the vid

  • That's beautiful...the sea is so green...but it is so clear. The statue is amazing too...Where is this place?

  • looks really beautiful with the sealife on her. It fits.

  • wow she's truely beautiful, when I travel the world I'd love to swim down there with my own mermaid tail to meet her!! So very beautiful!!! Please don't let then take off the wonderful sea life on her... she's perfect like this!!

  • I think it's beautiful with the sea life!

  • wow...i just saw a vid of the same statue...and the water was blue and she wasnt coverd in the sea life...i kinda find this one more pretty

  • i dont get it,, is it a staue of a mermaid, how did it get down there :S

  • lol! jellyfish at the end :D

  • I'm not sure if they have any intention removing the years of growth from the mermaid. I hope they do not because she has become home to lots of wonderful creatures. Anemones sprout all over her face and fish hide in her hair. "Cleaning her up" would mean dislodging or killing them! It's a little difficult to see in the video, but she is quite beautiful with all the critters moving over her. They form a vibrant, living veil, which is quite fitting I think!

  • Can they clean it up?

  • that must be a beautiful statue, they should clean it up

  • LOL the waters green

  • That's why they call it the Emerald Sea. The green is caused by phytoplankton which is the base of a very productive ecosystem with incredible biodiversity.

  • cant they clean the mermiad staue off to see how pretty it is

  • that's so neat!

i'm digging those fins you use!

  • how did that mermaid get down there if itz not real? dunt dunt dunttttt!
