man! its me or this game sucks vs bust a move 1 & 2? i play both bust a moves and i find those real great games with nice characters and awesome music, but this one.... i dont know.... i feel something is missing.... :-S

@ElCaminanteEspejo Problem might be that the developers knew it wasn't leaving Japan, or maybe the style change of 1 vs 1 dance battles to whole team choreography shifted it too much to feel the same.

From what I know, this game has all J-Pop, there's nothing resembling a story for this game, and technically you're not competing against anybody. I think the moves are still there, but it doesn't have the same flair.

i'm crying inside, after watching this, i don't find this game anywhere, i downloaded, i burn it into a CD-R but it doesn't work, my ps2 is modded with a matrix chip 1.83 so i don't need swap magic.... yet is useless

Yes it has! Bully hit the usa in 2006 for playstation 2. They rereleased it in 2008 for wii and xbox calling it Bully: Scholarship Edition. In some places it is hard to find, but in other places it easy. I play Bully all the time!

Eh it's okay. Definitely not as good as bust a groove 1 or 2. Everything pretty much changed in dance summit where you're dancing as a team and you have to beat everyone. It's an interesting concept but due to the lack of teams and stages (8 for both) it gets boring fast.

lol and the U.S. probably didn't like the drag queen team and that's probably why it didn't come over.

I'm guessing SCEA wasn't interested in the game. It released in Japan only a few months after Bust a Groove 2 was released in North America.

It's not really so much as Japan keeping their secrets, but also America being squeamish about certain things. Specifically, the Flower Dancing Team, a team not shown in this vid but the second vid (only a bit, after 6:24ish); a team made up of 3 transvestites/drag queens and 1 transsexual. ... And several other things about this game, back then, didn't make America quite as eager to bring it over.
