@msz501 - It was called "Where The Day Takes You" - One of my fave movies from my teen years, certainly opened my eyes to how lucky I was... Also stars other 'big names' of today including, Will Smith, Dermott Mulroney, Lara Flynn Boyle, Ricki Lake, Baltzar Ghetty, just to name a few lol
I LOVED the Lord of the Rings trilogy...they are NOT my kind of movies, but I adored every minute of them! I think Sean Astin was truly amazing in his role! Nobody could have done it better.

Okay can we all agree that cinematic abortions like "Encino Man" aren't real movies please? What an insult to Astin's career to include a piece of crap I'm sure he'd rather forget.
@nibornna There are different kinds of people in this world:
1-The ones who liked Lord of the Rings because of the good special effects and because there's swords and people kicking each other’s asses off and didn't care about its message.
2-The ones who liked it because of its outstanding cinematography and brilliant plot's complexity so as the message of true friendship and the hymn to Nature. (Lord of the Rings is full of philosophy, metaphysics and social/politic criticisms).
@AronofskysKumo 3-The ones who didn't like it, because they don't like fantastic films/literature and since it has dragons and swords and mystic creatures they just didn't even feel like giving it a try.
4-The ones who didn't like it even though they tried to understand its message... (But they didn't, or they're heartless friendless industrialization-loving people.)
@AronofskysKumo 5-The ones who didn't like it because it was too commercial... (These ones are also known as pseudo-intellectuals, who are the biggest idiots the world has ever met).
@nibornna Oh and by the way... There are a lot of people who didn't like Lord of the Rings. It's harder to find a LOTR's fan than to find a hater. You can be sure of that... No need to say what the masses are really into.
@nibornna it's slow, and can be hard to get into, funny thing is I've never heard anyone say they dislike the movie just they couldn't get into it, ^^, and that's respectable, I'm a huge LOTR fanboy but I'm not going to bash you for not liking the series haha =)
