and you get your jollies playing with your lights on youtube, how cute
depending on who you sold it to, you'd have to cut all the wiring harnesses to render the lights inoperable and you'll never get back what you put in it for lights
so throwing around figures such as the cost of the lights won't get you any money in the long run
@beasst94 yea, well i show this because i have police departments and an ambulance company that bought the cars from me so i put the lights in for them, so therefore, i don't have to cut the wiring because they are going back into service are are legal so you go get your jollies off somewhere else
Nope, sho-me wig-wags and the rest is all generic brand but professional police equipment. If I went with whelen or federal signal, the entire light and siren package would have been closer to $5000 rather than the $2900. Police equipment is expensive. New dash cams with recorders are over $5000 now, even the simple stop sticks cost about $400 a pair.
Why waste all that money on things you're never going to have the opportunity to use? There's no reason a civilian should have red/blue lights, dash cams, or stop sticks. In fact, there are states that prohibit even the display of emergency lights without a red or blue light permit, regardless of whether or not they are activated. It could result in a FINE and/or CONFISCATION. My advice is... don't waste the money.
WHY YOU ASK, BECAUSE MANY STATES ALLOW A POLICE OFFICER TO OUTFIT THERE OWN PERSONAL CAR. Many times they will receive an allowance to spend to outfit there own personal car to use as a police car. I buy and sell these cars and outfitted this one because I have sold several cars that returned back into service. This way, the car is all done and ready to be put back into service that same day it is purchased.
Ohh, and for the emergency lighting laws. Red and blue lights are basically illeagal anywhere when activated on public roads. If the lens of the light is red or blue it is also illegal. However, it is not illegal to own them. You can have as many clear and amber lights as you wish. Amber only means caution so that is perfectly legal. The laws vary on the usage of flashing of clear/white lights. If all the lenses are clear, then there is no problem as long as they are not activated.
no, I am not going to list anymore on ebay like this, the lights are way to much money and not enough payoff. All the lights with install was $2900, and I only sold the car for $5500. the lights seem to deter buyers instead of attract, and ebay was quite tough on the emergency lighting rules and did pull the auction on my 4 times even though the ad said it didn't come with red or blue lights.
Hey Bro, The car is sick, Im trying Built one just like yours, I almost bought one on ebay but when I say yours and went on ebay to get all the stuff to make mine like yours... Any suggestions????
This car is on ebay. Only shows up within 200 miles of zip 60914 because its listed as a classified ad, (cheaper that way). Just search police sirens lights in car and truck section. and type in your zip as 60914.

Forgot to ask. What manufacturer light package do you have installed on this vehicle? Is that Whelen or Federal Signal.
