you have GOT to be f-ing kidding me!!!!!! sssooooo many people are die hard subaru fans because of rally. so many people actually go2 a lot to look and test drive a subaru just to see the power and fun factor of them. without rally id say 80% of people would be unaware this little family looking car could kick so much ass.

purcahsed an '07 WRX Lt. for my wife new in Dec. '06..was hoping to graduate college in 2010 & get myself an STI...guess I'm gonna be looking @ the EVO10 cuz that thing is UGLY! I understand the change to 5 door for comp. & I give Subaru props for the performance improved...I can not, will not, and couldn't emagine dropping bank on something so ugly. Don't intend to be offensive to current owners. I just don't see ANY visual appeal Bro

The new model is really bad apparently. The US hated the previous STi's so they changed the characteristics. All advantages the impreza has over the EVO's just dissolved away. Jeremy from topgear said that what used to be a hard to pick, there is now a clear line between the two. :( Sure the rally ones would have been fixed :P

Apparently not! The new GR model 08-09 STI is superior to the GD models 04-07 in about every way, expect the pure rawness has been weaned out. Subaru made the switch to the 5-door to be competative in WRC/PWRC. They don't give a damn if the U.S. market likes the looks or not!!
