This is quite strange, I would have thought that if loose nuts had caused wheel loss then the nut guard ring would have come of first followed by the wheel. But the ring is still on the wheel, is this a hub failure? anyone know?

Typical Stagecoach. At our school one of the top windows on the double decker fell off! Could of landed on top of someone and killed them, also the state of their buses. Most of their double deckers in my area look like they have been taken under a bridge that is too low.

I'm so sick of comments from people on You Tube. If you look closely, the wheel has come off complete with the hub assembly, meaning either the locking ring for the wheel bearing wasn't fitted correctly, or the wheel bearing has failed. Stagecoach have an excellent maintenance record. No one's been harmed so don't overeact!
