hi guys..just an update from new zealand,,, over here ive probly murdered about 8000 of them possums and then skinned them for teh furs,,, but hey only after they are dead,,tried it one was alive but that got boreing so i gave up ..its still running round half naked..wana come over and help me some more ?????????

Possums are protected species in Australia. Poisoning is out. Erect a possum cage to put your vegetable garden in and keep possums out. Catching possums in traps and releasing them elsewhere is unkind. They are unlikely to survive relocation. Other possums may move into your garden to fill the gap.

What my mother does to help keep rabbits away is use a nice light fencing, and a spray that she has, called invisible fence. Whats nice about the sprays is that there are ZERO chemicals in it! Its just a combination of very foul smelling ingredients, on of the main ones is vinegar. You should check that out, its all natural, and works great! It just smells really bad lol.

what a bugger...feel so sad for all of your hard work. I know how annoyed I was when my 2 year old dug up a couple of carrots in her efforts to help me with the gardening. Keep your chin up the warmer weather is on it's way and what fun you will have designing a "wascally wabbit" proof cover!!
